Focussing on future improvements 🚀. A few days ago, we had intensive discussions during various workshops at our annual strategy meeting and the common path for the future was defined.  As a service center, our focus lays on customer centricity - so, what are our customer’s future requirements and challenges in terms of products and services?  Dedicated employees will remain one of the most important success factors, paired with smart and digital services - so that the material supply runs smoothly. Our mission is to be our customers' first choice for sustainable products and services. That is why we are already an important partner in the decarbonisation of our customers' supply chains by supplying them with CO2-reduced slit strip or blanks. One example is our customer Autoliv, which uses CO2-reduced slit strip in automotive safety systems to reduce the emissions of its products. In addition to the procurement and processing of CO2-reduced carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum, our portfolio also includes consulting and digital solutions to decarbonise the supply chain. Awarded by our customer: We are very proud to have been honoured by our long-standing customer Purem by Eberspächer with the "Supplier Award" for our achievements. We have been supplying the exhaust specialist of the Eberspächer Group with stainless steel slit strip and precision blanks for the automotive industry for over 30 years. With our digital service mpe control tower, we also contribute to better planning and control the flow of goods between all partners in the supply chain. Our annual internal sports campaign “fit through the winter” has come to an end for this season. This long-running campaign aims to keep our colleagues across Europe healthy and fit throughout the winter. We value the individual contribution of each employee, which not only contributes to the success of our company, but also reflects our shared commitment to a healthy and fulfilling working environment. In teams of five the sports enthusiasts collected points for various activities to win the challenge cup. Everyone's favourite activities were walking, cycling and working out in the gym. This year’s winners are our colleagues from Mannheim, who were able to collect over 2,000 points. Congratulations on this impressive performance! 🏆🚴♂️🏋♀️ But no one left empty-handed, as vouchers were raffled off among all active participants. Successful collaboration towards a sustainable automotive industry: Together with our customer Autoliv, the world's largest supplier of automotive safety systems, we have signed an agreement to take a major step towards decarbonising the supply chain in the future. We are already supplying Autoliv with CO2-reduced slit strip and will continue to increase this volume over the next few years. Autoliv has set itself the goal of being emission-free throughout the entire supply chain by 2040. By supplying low-CO2 steel products, we are making an important contribution to achieving this goal.
