🚨 Dear LinkedIn members: Let's use this app like it is supposed to be used: This is Ben: He needs 100k investment by August otherwise he has to start his dual studies at Telekom. What is it: 🚚 🍣 His B2B marketplace lets restaurants work directly with local delivery riders (like those used by Uber Eats, etc.) for more efficient, cost-effective deliveries, saving restaurants thousands of euros monthly. Problem statement: Platform fees of up to 30%, which costs restaurant owners an average of €63.839 per year, enough to hire 2 full-time staff members for a year. Solution statement: By aggregating all order streams from [multiple] restaurants, it will help riders deliver more efficiently and increases restaurant cost savings by up to 28% yearly. - He already has great external advisors from the industry - The solution is 'easy' to scale once a lot is set up 100k are now needed for engineering & launching PoC run with a targeted launch in Q4 in Berlin to raise pre-seed. He is not able to run this start up besides the dual studies. Although, he already invested 5-figures himself. 100% focus. I wouldn't do this post if it didn't have potential. Let's help him make it possible. This idea really deserves to be heard and saves some restaurant's life. DM me for Pitch Deck and intro to him or Comment or tag for maximum reach Hope for support #investment #b2b #marketplace #startup

💰 The left guy made a 300M Exit - then he realized he was barking up the wrong tree Porn addiction, cheating and turning to drugs was a side that Bjoern got to know about himself during a tough time. Money is not the answer. Of course, he wouldn't be sitting here when things didn't change to his advantage. Bjoern Keune got to know Breathwork. Breathwork helped him to get a new perspective on things. In our conversation, I tried to get behind the first layers of his new authentic image. Together with his Co-Founder Pete Byrne, he founded ReallyAlign to help other entrepreneurs not to fall into the same trap as he did. But... To achieve great things, you need to be unbalanced at some time, right? We discussed that. For founders that are in the grind right now, listen to this. Entrepreneurs often run into a wall that can be seen in a 1-mile distance. Note: We did a Breathwork session together before this podcast and I got sub-conscious. I was blown away on what 'breathing' does to your body. Listen in on Spotify & Co. Thanks for the experience Pete & Björn!

This guy got detained at UN summits for his protests against climate change and is the Chief Evangelist at Greentech unicorn Enpal Enpal generated over 900.000.000 € in revenue last year and is one of the leading companies to push energy transition. Dr. Wolfgang Gründinger found his interest at 16 by reading a book about it. Then decided to go all in. His recognition is equally impressive: - twice named in Capital's "Top 40 under 40" - listed in Handelsblatt's "Top 30 under 30" - member of numerous organizations such as 'Club of Rome' - a doctoral thesis on the influence of interest groups in the energy transition With him being an ambassador for the prevention of harsh impacts due to climate change, especially in Germany, he truly is a top tier thought leader. Main takeaway from our chat: 1) 🚗 The EV industry is a leading example that we overslept the energy transition in Europe. Now other nations have to tell Germans how to build cars, it feels like. 2) 🇨🇳 China is no longer a workbench that stands for cheap quality and high quantity It is top-notch quality AND the cheapest country to produce. Enpal produces its solar panels mainly in China. Let's hear more about that on the podcast. (Unfortunately, there were problems with the audio, so now we have structured a 10-min article. Well-structured with citations.) English & German 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 📑 🎙 Go here: https://lnkd.in/e6ekuKSN

The average attention span is at 8,25 seconds in 2024. A goldfish has the same amount. (In 2019 it was at 47 seconds and 2004 at 2.5 minutes.) Thanks TikTok :) Hard to think that 43% are listening to podcasts nowadays. Is the hype over? For companies, there is still a great market. Why? I published an article on OMR & OMR Reviews about building a Corporate Podcast. From needed commitment, tools and investment I broke everything down: - What is the difference between corporate and branded podcasts? - What are the advantages of a corporate podcast? - 6 steps/tips for the successful production of your corporate podcast - Which tools are suitable for launching your corporate podcast? - What are best practices for successful corporate podcasts? - Should you start a corporate podcast for your company? - Best practices to copy Enjoy! Happy for feedback or added value in the comments! Just translate the article in English through Google Chrome. https://lnkd.in/ey_tqjkV #podcast #corporatepodcast

Is "Made in Germany" still a thing? Deindustrialization is spreading: Large traditional companies are leaving Germany, as are mid-sized companies. You can't sugarcoat the figures: 37% of SMEs prefer to invest abroad. 20% are planning to cut jobs in Germany. Big funds from China, Middle East and the US are buying into our silver cutlery. Why is that? It's quite simple: ➡️ Energy and raw material prices have exploded, making them a real business risk for many. ➡️ Labor is too expensive - for employers and employees. ➡️ The bureaucratic madness paralyzes and brings things to a standstill! ➡️ Unattractive framework conditions for investments: The support for innovations and start-ups is very inadequate on the part of our politicians and makes Germany less attractive for investments. But the most important thing: Export-driven industries have grown the fastest. Now we are moving from the export industry to the information industry. Big data, technology and information. 🇩🇪 What we need to focus on now? Germany urgently needs to regain its competitiveness, and concrete steps are needed to achieve this. Politicians ought to establish appealing investment conditions by implementing extensive reforms and fostering a welcoming environment for industrial firms. How do you feel about Germany? What was your perception of us in the past vs. now? Shoutout to Carsten Maschmeyer for the impetus.

This guy went to Silicon Valley at 21 with $1200 bucks from his grandmother The track record since then is impressive: - Grew social discovery service and grew to 50 million users, then got acquired by IAC - Built Wag! and went public on the NASDAQ - Now over 45 investments in Indian start ups with an average investment of $300.000 through his VC "2am VC" Brendan Rogers is a big believer in India. Why? Over half of India’s population is still under age 30. Means the economy emerges more and more into a superpower. But what drives Brendan? "I get excited to be a beast, I don't like being average. Everybody in this world is a robot..." If you are: - VC - Founder - Aspiring founder - Entrepreneur I recommend taking the time to listen. It's an honor to host such people and to have a platform where I can share my conversations with the world. Thanks for joining us in our studio in Berlin, Brendan. 🛰 This expat pushes the Saudi Arabian Space Program to new limits From Apple Computers to founding and merging an IT company and 20 years at the European Space Agency. Now he is the Vice Governor for Space at the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST). This is Frank Salzgeber. I met him at the HQ in Riyadh, KSA. Frank spent 19 years in the European Space Agency (ESA) with building the largest space entrepreneurship network in the world (ESA BICs). Don't underestimate ESA's incubation program! Why? - His ESA team initiated over 370 industry transfers and helped over 1,300 start-ups.   Before joining ESA, Frank founded an IT company and merged with CANCOM SA. Frank witnessed Steve Job's "Apple Computers", now Apple Inc., as an account and sales manager, responsible for Central Europe working in different places around the world. He has done a lot, we talked about a lot, enjoy the show. (German only) Link in the comments. Ps: I am thanking myself for sticking to the game of podcasting since starting with 18 years of age. The conversations with these and other great minds are the reason I started the podcast. The sensational quality of people that are a phone call away to give me advice is incredible. And I am here only to give. Just pure love to the game of growing a quality network.

At first a CTO position at SAP - now he helps software sellers earning 350k and more p.a. This is Volker Hein. We met in Dubai in May to meet for dinner and eventually recorded a podcast to get a glimpse of his drive, expertise & attitude. Volker accelerated his career in software with starting at SAP selling innovation cases & more. In 2021 he jumped off the 6-figure pay check and started his own organization. With Sales Elements he now pushes software seller to their limits of capability and their highest possible income. On our podcast (German only) we talked about - his time at SAP and what differentiates him from others - what is critical when starting out in software sales - why software sales is the most underrated job opportunity out there - what most sellers don't get and last but not least - why he actually moved to Dubai whilst having a regional offer for the German market only. To me an authentic personality on & off the camera with never being satisfied and always pushing forward. Link to the pod in the comments

4 things that surprised me about the jet business in the Middle East and Gabriel Madrids company Jet Luxe Customer profile: - Jet Luxe's customers are made up of different groups: 60% of customers are companies, 30% are athletes, celebrities or wealthy individuals, and 10% of customers fly out of emergencies, e.g. for medical evacuations. Annual performance: - Last year Jet Luxe completed nearly 2,800 flights and 1,300 transactions, an increase of 500% year-on-year. Talent: - Finding great talent is ‘easy’ acc. to Gabriel, although in their growth stage it is critical to find the right people but also to keep them. It is the number one metric to scale. Scaling by talent is often being targeted when PMF meets a scalable company structure. Talent is THE metric to get from 1-10.  Global reach and team size: - Jet Luxe operates globally with offices on several continents, including Hong Kong, the US, London, Mexico and the Dubai headquarters. The team now consists of around 70-80 people. Listen to the full podcast to discover more about the jet business. Link in comments.
