𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗳 𝗯𝘆 MaxSolar GmbH This solar park with an output of 125 MWp, realized as part of a citizen participation scheme, can supply 37,500 households with green power. In addition to the ground-mounted photovoltaic system, a renewable district heating network and an e-charging infrastructure were also implemented. The “zero-emissions concept” for heat generation was also complemented by several biodiversity measures, all of which have a positive impact on environmental protection and rural development. For example, the plant serves as a compensation area, the low-yield soils are enriched with organic material by providing shade for plants and animals and preventing the soil from drying out during periods of drought. More than 1,000 electric delivery trucks are integrated in a strategic energy and process management system. Telematic data, including vehicle charging status and route information, is used to optimize grid usage, minimizing investment costs and maximizing the benefits to the infrastructure. This allows around 90 electric delivery trucks and 40 charging stations to be managed at one depot, without the need to extend the grid connections. Their objective is to achieve net-zero emissions in the operation of their 16 hotels, retail and entertainment facilities by 2030 and to supply 100 percent renewable energy around the clock. Electric vehicles will also be made available to the guests. To this end, five solar parks supplying renewable energy are installed, covering an area of 28,000 km². The off-grid battery storage system with a capacity of 1,300 MWh is already supplied with electricity by more than 760,000 photovoltaic modules, ensuring a continuous power supply. The epitaxial growth of wafers directly from the vapor phase can skip over this chain and therefore offers considerable energy saving potential and, currently, often the chance to cut down on carbon emissions. This also significantly reduces manufacturing costs. NexWafe has developed this process to industrial maturity. EpiNex wafers have a very high material quality, which enables the same solar cell efficiency as high-quality, conventional monocrystalline wafers. The proprietary process also enables the production of very thin wafers less than 100 µm thick. https://lnkd.in/diuu-dkd ⚡ 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝘆 ArcelorMittal Construction The French building materials company produces heat-insulating standing seam sheet metal roof elements, also known as sandwich roof panels, which are equipped with high-performance PV modules with plastic covers and TOPCon cells. These panels can be used to efficiently build or replace entire roofs for heated residential and commercial premises up to a length of 11 meters with an output of 2.2 kW. The additional weight of this BIPV solution contributes just 2.5 kg/sqm, compared to 12 kg/sqm in the case of conventional PV modules including their required substructure. The platform makes it possible to carry out grid connections for large photovoltaic installations, batteries or fuel cells/electrolyzers.
