If we are confronted with something new🆕, something unknown to us that doesn't fit into our existing model, we reject it for the time being❌ We often put off such tasks➡ We know that we should tackle them, but if they don't make sense to us, we leave them for the time being. But we should ask ourselves the question❓, why not complete the task by tomorrow? We can work well with the answer, because: Understood✅ does not mean agreeing. sᴛᴇᴘ-ɢ ᴡᴀs ᴘᴀʀᴛ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴢғ ᴄᴏᴍᴘᴀɴʏ ʀᴜɴ 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟺 ɪɴ ғʀɪᴇᴅʀɪᴄʜsʜᴀғᴇɴ The Vogter STEP-G running team showed cohesion, team spirit and a high level of commitment last week at the Firmenlauf Friedrichshafen on the 5.5 km course on Lake Constance. Over 7,700 runners🏃🏼♂️🏃🏼♀️ were registered for this year's run, breaking the record number of participants🙌🥳 We also took part with a colourful group of runners🙌 - a great event with a fantastic atmosphere and a sporty after-run party📣🎊🥳 After work, the run started at 6 pm and after the award ceremony there was partying with live music🎉🕺🏼💃🏼 The event focused on the fun of running. Prizes were awarded to the largest teams, among others, where it got a bit crowded on stage🏆 Our team rounded off the evening with a joint barbecue. ɴᴇᴡ ʜᴇᴀᴅ ᴏғ ʜʀ – ᴅᴀᴠɪᴅ ᴍüʟʟᴇʀ On July 1, we welcomed our new colleague - David Müller - as our future Head of HR at STEP-G in Bonn🎈🥳 David brings extensive HR experience from industry, including at the SMS group and Hydro Aluminium, and most recently held a management position at a medium-sized company in the chemical industry🧪 He will succeed Frank Bächstädt, our current HR Director, who will be taking his well-deserved retirement at the end of 2024. "I'm looking forward to the tasks💪 that await me and my team at STEP-G. The company, like many other organisations, is facing major challenges in terms of attracting, retaining and engaging employees in the future➡ HR will have to play a key role here to make STEP-G competitive in the long term," emphasises David, adding: "To achieve this, we need to link our HR activities much more closely to the corporate strategy, think consistently from the customer's perspective and create structures that are optimally aligned with this." David was able to get a first impression of his colleagues even before his official start▶ "I've already had the opportunity to get to know my team and many managers at two workshops👨🏽🏫 I received a very appreciative and open welcome and also felt a lot of positive energy🔋 to develop the company further. sᴛᴇᴘ-ɢ sᴛʀᴀᴛᴇɢʏ ᴡᴏʀᴋsʜᴏᴘ At the beginning▶ of our new financial year, in April 2024, we organised a workshop to roll out the STEP-G strategy at all of our German plant locations📍 Based on this, around 50 managers from our sites📍 in Bitterfeld, Bonn, Hettstedt, Vogt and our Belgian site in Duffel came together last week in Bad Staffelstein, Bavaria, to continue working on the corporate strategy and define the next steps👣 for implementation📝 This is the first time we have come together in such a large, cross-plant🔀 project group👥 Many thanks to everyone involved and to our workshop leader Willi Dick, who is actively supporting us with the strategy rollout and the entire project. #stepg #proudtobestepg #strategy #workshop #exchange #acrossplants

Each team consists of five players, whereby every team must have at least one woman👩🏿 and at least one man👨🏻 A total of 32 teams took part in the competition and fought for the title on two pitches🥇 Under the team name "The Hot Profiles"🔥♨ our team consisting of our Bitterfeld colleagues Celine Reich from Human Resources, Susanne Kipping as Energy Manager, our Works Council and Maintenance Manager from Mechanics, Ulf Seemann, Stefan Herper as HSE Manager, our Shipping and Packaging Manager Christian Schaper, our Quality System Manager Mirko Drestler and our Plant Manager Markus Backmann took a great second place 🥈 We congratulate🤝🏻 on the title of runner-up and are certain that these pictures📷 speak for themselves. In total, we have 17 team members👥 who come from different departments: Production, Quality, Dieshop, BE, HR, SCM and Engineering. The average age of our football team is already above 40 years – but their passion for football is still undiminished🥳 On May 25, 2024, we participated in the European Chamber Tianjin Chapter 4th Football Game and International Family Day. Totally there are eleven teams from different European companies such as VOLKSWAGEN, Airbus, WAGO China, TURCK China, Hörmann, COFICAB, SAFRAN Group etc. It’s our first time that we have participated in the football game.
