The European Solar Battery Market increased by 94% in 2023!🔋 SolarPower Europe, the premier association for the European solar PV sector, revealed that, in 2023, Europe installed 17.2 GWh of new Battery Energy Storage Systems, a 94% increase compared to 2022. Interestingly: Germany led the market with 34% of the European market share in 2023. That's huge! They installed 5.9 GWh last year and marked a significant increase of 152%. 📈BESS is growing and it is projected that by 2028, Europe's installed BESS capacity is expected to have increased by more than seven times, to 260 GWh of battery storage.
