Welcome back to our #monthlySRe where we give you an update of the past month: In mid-June we had a few submissions, including the Vehicle Status Video (VSV). We filmed a video with Audi explaining the VSV, which will be published on Instagram, so make sure to follow us there. We also used that day for further tests. Furthermore, our Driverless Department (DV) made great progress this past month as the algorithms have been simulated and only need to be installed on the vehicle. We also completed a successful brake test. So now we are preparing for the DV VSV. Reflecting on our time at Formula Student Germany 2023! Our team had a fantastic time at the Hockenheimring and was proud to place 8th in Engineering Design, where the design and technical aspects of the car are evaluated in categories such as overall vehicle concept, mechanical and structural engineering, and tractive system. Welcome back to a #throwbackthursday! Today we look back to our events last year, one of them was FSA. FSA is a very popular events and every year lots of Schanzer team members and even alumni want to join. We are already planning for FSA this year and are very excited for the competition at the end of July. On May 17th, we had the rollout of our SRe24. As mentioned in our previous post, the event was a complete success! Today we would like to share some information here that we also presented during the rollout. First, the most obvious: This year, our design team worked hard to deliver an exciting and recognizable livery. The eye-catching design of our SRe24 results from reinterpreting various design elements from previous cars and combining them with new innovative details. Technical changes include that our SRe24 will be driving driverless for the first time and we plan to participate in the driverless disciplines at events. We shared more detailed information about this in a video a few months ago.  Additionally, the suspension and kinematics have been revised. In 2024, we will be racing with a new tire model and gear ratio to achieve even better performance at the events.  Our monocoque has been redesigned for more efficient space utilization, and our aero has focused on thermal management for better energy utilization. We are also proud to report that we have 90 members this season, representing all 6 faculties of Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. Welcome back to our #monthlySRe update! The rollout of our SRe24 this year was a complete success. We presented our race car to 250 guests in the Exerzierhalle in Ingolstadt. Thanks a lot to everyone who celebrated this milestone with us! We also submitted our first event submissions, including the pitch video of our business plan and the engineering design report in which we explain our concepts for this year's vehicle. And we already started working on our SRe25.
