These recycling methods use a combination of mechanical, thermal and chemical processes to separate and clean waste materials. Capable of processing many different types of refractories, including magnesia, alumina and silica-based products, these recovered materials are often reused and have been shown to meet or exceed raw material quality standards, with some recycled products exhibiting improved performance characteristics due to the thermal history of the original composition. The implementation of refractory recycling practices creates a closed-loop model within the high temperature industry that helps reduce landfill usage and raw material extraction, and offers potential energy savings in refractory production.     REFRA-Academy continues to go strong! 🔥   During the month of July, Refratechnik North America in conjunction with Refratechnik Mexico and Refratechnik Cement delivered an exclusive refractory training to one of our customers in the USA.   During the three-day intensive training in theory and practice for everyone, we had the opportunity to showcase our latest refractory technology with the ES Concept.
