The fourth generation of the Porsche Cayenne will be all-electric. A demanding test programme for the first camouflaged prototypes is already well underway. Porsche is simultaneously moving forward with the development of its powerful hybrid and combustion engine models. In der vergangenen Woche hatten wir die Möglichkeit 30 junge Talente kennenzulernen, sie für Porsche als Marke und Arbeitgeber zu begeistern und Ihnen einen authentischen Einblick in die Automobilindustrie zu geben. ✅ Das Recruiting-Event der besonderen Art wurde ins Leben gerufen, um die Talente für ein Praktikum in unserer Produktion und Logistik am Standort Zuffenhausen zu gewinnen. ✅ Von der Vorstellung potenzieller Fachbereiche über Gruppenarbeiten im Plenum bis hin zur Werksführung - hier drehte sich alles um die Porsche Produktion. ✅ Dabei stand vor allem der persönliche Austausch im Vordergrund - egal ob im persönlichen Kennenlerngespräch, im Austausch mit den Experten, sowie aktuellen Praktikantinnen und Praktikanten oder beim abschließenden gemeinsamen Barbecue. #Porsche AG achieved stronger results in the second quarter of 2024 than in the previous quarter and is reporting robust financial figures for the first half-year. The sports car manufacturer is seeing high demand for its innovative 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid. The updated iconic 911 sports car and the new all-electric Macan have enhanced the product portfolio for the long term. Financially, the company has also picked up speed again after a restraint start to the year: the group operating return on sales in the second quarter was 17.0 percent, which was at the upper end of expectations. As a result, the group operating return on sales for the first half of 2024 rose above the 15 percent mark, despite challenging circumstances. Rarely does motorsport deliver such thrilling title showdowns, and just as rarely has an athlete remained as cool under pressure as the new Formula E World Champion Pascal Wehrlein from the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team. The 29-year-old German would arguably have never experienced a performance like last weekend in London at any point in his career. “Give me more pressure,” he radioed, obviously pumped with adrenaline after his victory on Saturday in the Docklands of the English capital. Over the years, the #Porsche 912 has become a collector’s classic. As a Porsche sportscar, it combines the charm of the Porsche 911 with the practicality and simplicity of the earlier 356 model. Manufactured by Porsche between 1965 and 1969, but briefly revived from 1975 to 1976 for the US market only, the 912 was a strategic move by Porsche to cater to a broader audience without compromising on performance and style. French photographer Vince Perraud owns a 1968 Porsche 912 and enthuses that it’s a nimble, playful machine that stands out amid today’s modern, larger cars. The new #Porsche Macan 4S has a new rear-axle motor and a powerful 600-amp SiC pulse inverter. The electric motor has a diameter of 230 millimetres and an active length of 150 millimetres. Together with the front-axle motor also used in the Macan 4 and the Turbo, this results in a system output of 330 kW (448 PS) with a short power overboost to up to 380 kW (516 PS, Macan 4S Electric (WLTP): Electrical consumption combined: 20.7 – 17.7 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions combined: 0 g/km; CO₂ class: A; Status 07/2024).
