PlaytestCloud is a platform that makes playtesting and games user research easy so game studios can make games players love. We solved all the problems that stop studios from playtesting like they should—recruiting, scheduling, logistics, recording, transcribing, distribution and data compiling—and added data security, GDPR compliance, automated analysis and a quality guarantee! Our global panel of players (1.5M , mostly based in the US, CA and UK) represent all demographics, gaming levels, platforms and interests, so we definitely have your players. We’re the only playtesting platform fully COPPA certified to safely test with kids aged 3-15. Our approach to ethical treatment of our playtesters is unique in our industry: unlike other playtesting companies, our players are paid in real money, not gift cards or points, and they’re paid the exact same rate no matter where they are in the world—often double the rate of other providers. #PGC Helsinki is wrapped up! It's great to have these smaller, more compact events, as they make it easier to connect with valuable contacts without spending all our time walking around. It also creates more opportunities for casual, random conversations without the usual rush. Great events also bring great mixers, and this one was no exception! PlaytestCloud was a fantastic start, especially with its convenient location, location. I even got a Tamagotchi! Metaplay never disappoints, offering a wonderful variety of people and cocktails. It's always good to have them at our backs. What could be more Finnish than wrapping up the night with a relaxed chat in a sauna? A big thank you to PHZ Full Stack/Apprien for that!

Had an incredible time at PGC! 🇫🇮🔥 As I’m emotionally preparing to leave for the airport at 4am, I’m leaving with lots of fresh ideas to reflect on after so many inspiring talks (including our very own Julian Werner 💪) and informative panels around AI powered workflows, UA challenges in the current landscape, and a peek at Rovio’s in-house tool to support the full game lifecycle. Also grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many talented professionals and partners we’ve been working alongside. Special shoutout to Angie Dlugopolska Dana Publicover Panos Karantais and the team at PlaytestCloud for hosting the refreshing happy hour! 🍻😎 On an important side note, I can confirm Helsinki’s famous salmon soup is indeed as delightful as they say.

Usually when you plan an event, you expect about 75% of your RSVPs to show. This is really, really cool (and here’s why): this chart shows how players experienced the first 8 hours of gameplay in a game tested on PlaytestCloud. Remote playtests allow players to play where they normally play on their own devices, so their gameplay experience is more natural too. You’re also able to gather data like this at scale, automatically. And let’s not forget: you might not have enough of your target players living within 20 minutes of your lab. Tracking experience from first play through the returns window means knowing exactly how players will react to your game—this isn’t just testing your onboarding or first impressions: this is where your game builds fans. And doing that at scale and remotely is wild!
