Trialing out Pix4D Fields with sample multispectral data from a Ebee Plus fixed wing drone to assess crop health. The multispectral sensor from the fixed wing captures data in Red, Green, Near-Infrared and Red-Edge bands that allow analysis of crop health using various vegetative indices. NDVI being one that is applied here in Pix4D Fields Pix4D Agriculture. Tanzania Flying Labs used PIX4Dfields to monitor vegetation regrowth on barren land in Kongwa, Tanzania. They used sustainable methods - the locally introduced farmer-managed natural regeneration (FMNR) technique - to combat the effects of drought 💧 🌳 With PIX4Dfields' Magic Tool they identified, tracked, and monitored tree regrowth over time. They upskilled the local communities to analyze drone data, with the aim to empower them to effectively manage and restore the land.
