Some issues faced in a typical top spray granulation process are: - Inconsistent granule size, - Over-wetting & under-wetting, - Granule friability, - Moisture control. Learn how to overcome these with inline monitoring with our IPP 80-P.

The Parsum principle: Particle Measurement directly in the process - Dispersion makes the Difference!
Info
Measuring particle size in running processes - Parsum stands for this since over 20 years with its own complete solutions. Founded in 1997 by former employees of Chemnitz University of Technology, Parsum has now become a recognized international supplier of PAT solutions for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. At the beginning was a patented measuring principle and the conviction that there is a great need in industry and R&D to measure particle sizes directly in the process to monitor, control and optimize these processes. From the beginning, Parsum used the in-line measurement, where particles do not have to leave the process space and the measurement results are available immediately and continuously. Several patents were granted for this procedure in Germany, Europe and the USA. The Parsum Probe design without mechanically adjustable parts has become an important success factor and has been maintained up to today's probe types. As a result, installation in existing systems is easily possible. In addition to the fine chemicals, food and basic industries, with the IPP 70- probe type Parsum offers a GMP-compliant solution for the pharmaceutical industry. Above all, the consistent development of accessories for particle dispersion and process adjustment, the so-called "Process Interface", led to Parsum becoming a market leader in the field of particle measurement in fluidized bed processes. The unique Inline dispersing technology in particular contributed to the fact that the measuring probes can also determine the particle size distribution in very dense, moist and dusty processes. Parsum is thus in a very good position for future business. In addition to the general trend towards "Industry 4.0" this is promoted in the pharmaceutical industry mainly by the increasing direct integration of PAT into new production facilities and a growing trend towards continuous production processes.

Check out our P/VAC 10-60 in motion together with Parsum GmbH, Our DIOSNA mixers (P/VAC 10-60 here with a VAC 50 bowl) can be equipped with probes for your specific process via the lid, as can be seen in the video of our single-pot processor at DIOlab Pharma (Osnabrück/Germany). Take a look at the rest of the DIOlab here: 📽 https://lnkd.in/gPmG5tvz But that's not all. The P/VAC 10-60 is designed in such a way that the bowls can also be changed, making other sizes (10-60L) possible depending on the process. Our flexible single-pot processors allow the combination of mixing, granulating and vacuum drying in one process. This is a great solution for processes with, for example, active and/or hazardous ingredients that need to meet specific containment conditions to protect your personnel. Using a single-pot processor is therefore also a preventative measure against product loss in processes where multiple machine changes are common. It is also important to note that vacuum drying enables the boiling point to be lowered, making it ideal for heat-sensitive products as well as products that are sensitive to light, moisture and oxygen. Our product range is broad and can cover your processes on a laboratory (P/VAC-10), pilot (P/VAC 10-60) and production scale (VAC 150-1200). Get more information about our single-pot processor P/VAC 10-60 here: 💻 https://lnkd.in/gdefUJB5 #DIOSNA #SinglePot #mixing #probes #equipment #manufacturing #innovation
Our probes are perfectly suited for easy installation in a high-shear granulator of any size. The IPP 75-S is able to track the particle size distribution during the agglomeration process and to determine the end point of granulation, even in large vessels. Improve your batch-to-batch consistency and the mixing quality with inline particle measurement.
