    Building Connections in Toronto 🇨🇦 Our community manager and copywriter, Amani, recently had the opportunity to connect face-to-face with the Lufthansa InTouch (LiT) Social Media team in Downtown Toronto. This gathering focused on strengthening collaboration, sharing insights, and fostering engaging conversations. 🤝 The event brought together Lufthansa team members such as Michaela Nepil, Linda Konter, and Katinka Kelley to discuss essential topics like crisis management, irregularity management, and community engagement best practices. Amani presented innovative ideas on community dialogue, shared examples of integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion into social media, and analyzed competitor strategies to remain ahead of industry trends. 📈 A key highlight of the meeting was the sessions led by Katinka and Michaela, providing deeper insights into crisis and irregularity management. These discussions offered fresh perspectives to further empower the community and refine approaches to handling challenging situations. It’s always great for us to stay connected with our Lufthansa Group colleagues around the world!     How can a whale and a boat help to improve the creative process?💡🤔 Our recent storytelling workshop with Michael Matthiass showed how these two forces representing intuition and analysis, work together to enhance creativity and communication. In the workshop, we used the metaphor of the whale and the boat to explore the balance required to combine them both. Analysis, represented by the boat 🚤, clarifies the core message by asking, "What is the essential point we want to communicate?" This precision helps us build a strong foundation for our message. As Michael emphasized, the quality of any communication depends on clearly answering this fundamental question. Whether it's a campaign, a product or a corporate strategy, a well-defined core message is crucial. Without it, creativity can become vague and ineffective. Intuition, symbolized by the whale 🐋, adds depth and creativity. It includes those sudden ideas and creative thoughts that bring the core message to life in a special way. Intuitive thinking works best when it has a clear and defined core to build upon. Michael pointed out that while intuition is often seen as a happy accident, it is the result of a successful analytical process. During the workshop, we focused on several key areas:  Exploring creativity: What drives creativity? Why do stories engage us? How does language exert its influence?    Practical application: We were trained to identify the core of what we wanted to say, and then how to say it more powerfully. Working with real briefs, we distilled key messages, crafted compelling stories, and brainstormed creative solutions that resonate with our audiences.  Improve storytelling: We practiced developing longer, more engaging narratives, quickly grabbing the audience's attention, and ensuring that our messaging is deep and consistent.  Thank you, Michael! This hands-on exercise had an impact on the team and our creative processes, and we're grateful to everyone who participated for their amazing teamwork and creativity. 💡

    Oscars Capturing Lufthansa's New Premium Lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport! 🌟 Our content creators, Max and Henar, were on-site for something special: the reopening of Lufthansa’s newly renovated premium lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport. What was it about? ✈️  Lufthansa recently completed the renovation of its premium lounge at Newark, designed to enhance the travel experience. The lounge offers business travelers dedicated workspaces with wireless charging and printing stations, while multifunctional rooms cater to meetings or relaxation. From solo travelers to groups, the variety of seating options ensures everyone finds their ideal spot. This renovation reflects Lufthansa's ongoing dedication to providing premium experiences on the ground and in the air. How did we contribute? 🎥  Just like in our previous productions, the goal was to capture the essence of this premium space. • Henar took stunning photographs for press releases and LinkedIn posts, showcasing the lounge’s new design and luxurious features.   • Max filmed videos for social media and internal use, highlighting how the lounge creates a seamless experience for travelers to relax, work, and recharge. Max shared: "Walking through the lounge as we worked, I could see how much thought went into every detail. It didn’t feel like just another airport lounge—it was a space where travelers could truly unwind."     ✈️ Unique content needs unique views, right? At Oscar Bravo, we love going above and beyond – sometimes quite literally! Last week, we took our content creation to a whole new level. Our colleague Florian Schöftenhuber led a special mission to capture a few Lufthansa aircraft from a new angle. 🚁 With the help of Marcel, who is a pilot flying his trusty Cessna C170B, "Brown Sugar" (D-EYBR), Flo took off from Ellermühle Airfield (QLG) and headed toward Munich Airport. But this was no ordinary flight. They were flying just 300 meters above the ground, circling between the north and south runways over Terminal 2. 📸 What was the goal? To shoot amazing photos and videos of Lufthansa's aircraft, right up close! And what a lineup it was – featuring the iconic Airbus A350 and the giant A380, all perfectly placed for Florian to capture stunning visuals from the sky. 🤔 How did we make it happen? Of course, flying this close to Munich Airport requires special permission, and Marcel made sure they got it. This gave Flo the perfect spot to show off his talent. We’re not just capturing content from the ground or high above in commercial planes. Whether it’s from 300 meters in the air or right on the runway, we’re dedicated to showing the beauty of flight from fresh perspectives.     Munich summer nights, frisbees and towels – what do they have in common with us and the way we work at Oscar Bravo? 🤔 Our recent summer team bonding evening in Munich was more than just enjoying snacks and drinks under the sun – it was a valuable opportunity to deepen our collaboration and strengthen the skills that drive us at Oscar Bravo. As part of our commitment to embrace togetherness, we organized a series of thoughtfully designed games that not only strengthened our team bonds, but also sharpened the key skills we rely on every day. Each of the games we played served as metaphors for our business and the way we work together. We challenged each other in these games and ways: Viking Chess 🏰: A strategic challenge that reflects the planning and foresight essential to our business. Table Tennis 🏓: Focused on coordination, reflecting the importance of teamwork. Frisbee 🥏: Hit the target! Similar to our approach to reaching and engaging with the right audience. Taboo 🤐: Emphasized communication, demonstrating the need for mutual understanding and clarity in our interactions. Cookie Game 🍪: Demonstrated resilience and innovative thinking, reflecting our ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
