𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗸 – 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵𝘁! 👉🏻 https://lnkd.in/djFnMcuY ---- 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 – 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀! 🌐Developing logistics commodities together - that is our goal in the Open Logistics Foundation. Our members have recognised the potential of using open source and working together. After all, there are areas in logistics that are not market-differentiating or making you any money, with great potential for joint development. 📢 Intralogistics also has considerable efficiency potential that can be realised through collaboration and open source. Our member, Viastore, would like to promote the topic of open source more strongly in intralogistics. In the interview, Harald Goebel and Andreas Nettsträter identified some areas within intralogistics where the joint development of open source solutions can benefit the entire industry. You can find the topics and areas they have identified in the LOGISTIK HEUTE article! The GPID key data set enables digital and forgery-proof data processing during both the export and import process. This is an advantage not only for customs authorities but also for freight forwarders, sellers, and buyers. The Working Group would like to promote cooperation with TAXUD, the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union, and the customs authorities of EU and non-EU countries and has already submitted proposals for a GPID pilot project with British and EU authorities. "We are encouraging authorities to participate in a pilot project that would not require any financial investment or changes to their current systems," explains Michael Douglas, Customs Technology Consultant at ALS Customs Services and co-lead of the Open Customs Blockchain Working Group. "The concept proves that trusted, first-hand data can effectively reduce customs evasion and fraud." The day was filled with 12 interactive workshops, each designed to provide a hands-on learning experience for all participants. These workshops, hosted by representatives from Fraunhofer IML, Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Ruhr-OWL, Centrum für Entrepreneurship & Transfer, Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund, Graduate School of Logistics, Leistungszentrum Logistik und IT, and Technische Universität Dortmund, covered a wide range of topics. Furthermore, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy valuable networking opportunities, food trucks, a candy bar, and some live music. 🎯 Among many other topics addressed in the workshops, the Foundation hosted a workshop on building the ultimate community space — Bricktopia, presented by Annika Kamen and Nathalie Böhning. The winning team with the most creative idea took home the title of "Community Master Builders." As always, we also learned something new. We have learnt that even more factors make up the perfect community space than we thought. From the creative ideas and the fun realisation of the teams to the atmosphere at the workshop, the workshop was a complete success. Thank you to all participants for your contribution and, of course, to the Digital Hub team for organising the event. #innovation #community #collaboration #networking Maria Beck | Karina Kampert | Melissa Kohnen | Fraunhofer ISST | Fraunhofer IML | Carina Culotta | Christian Prasse | EDIH-DO by Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund | Charlotte Edzard | Thorsten Huelsmann | Dr. Veronika Kretschmer | Martina Hörsting
