In Munich, we are organising the celebration of our Dutch national day as a networking event. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to say thank you to our long-standing partners and to give them the chance to exchange ideas and get to know each other. But this year we were able to offer even more. Thanks to the invitation from Kunsthalle München, our guests were also able to visit the outstanding exhibition of Dutch fashion artists Viktor&Rolf. The atmosphere at the event was one of enthusiasm and mutual interest, leading to several meaningful connections and collaborations. For me as a cultural officer, it was a perfect match and I am very proud that we succeeded. And of course it was made possible by the great offer of the Kunsthalle München: Many thanks to director Roger Diederen and his fantastic team! And thanks to the Businessclub Deutschland - Niederlande, with whom we organised our networking reception. But most of all: This event wouldn't have been possible without the outstanding team here at the Consulate General! All these wonderful colleagues who all pitch in and help out. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 Alet Meijer 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸: One of the many inspiring moments over the past six months was organizing a networking event during the Austria vs. Netherlands game. This event brought together a diverse group of professionals and businesses from both the Netherlands, Austria, and Germany. While the visitors might have had different opinions on the game, their mutual interest and innovative spirit was highlighted thanks to the synergy of the event. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, leading to several meaningful connections and collaborations. Witnessing firsthand how the collaborative efforts of Advantage Austria and us, facilitated these connections was incredibly rewarding. The vibrant interactions reinforced the importance of our work in fostering international business relationships and showcased the strong ties between the countries. However, my internship was filled with events that highlighted the innovative spirit in South-Germany and the potential for the Netherlands in this region!

Through our vitality program, we at Consulate General in Munich are always keen to keep fit as a team and strengthen our team spirit at the same time. The B2Run in Munich in July was a great opportunity to represent the energy and sportiness of the Consulate General in the spirit of Team Oranje.   And of course the Netherlands just showed sporting spirit at the European Championship in Germany or the Olympic Games in Paris, where 34 medals, including 15 gold, took them to best ever Olympics performance. What a great atmosphere at both sporting events.   Here in Munich we are now on the road with a lot of energy and the upcoming trip of Minister of State Aiwanger to the Netherlands in November on the subject of hydrogen.   Maybe you are going to join us?   #stayactive #TeamNL #TeamOranje   Foto: B2Run

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 Marlou Peters 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸: When I think back on the last few months, there are two moments I remember with great pleasure and pride. First, the Munich Cyber Security Conference that took place in February, where we had the honor of hosting a high-level government delegation from the Netherlands.   Second, the visit of a group of Dutch cyber security entrepreneurs, who are part of the Partners for International Business, to Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria in April. During this visit, first contacts were made with key cybersecurity players in Baden-Württemberg and warm ties in Bavaria were further strengthened. It is great to see that such a multi-year program really starts to deliver results.   For us as Consulate General proof, once again, that it is worthwhile to focus on long-term partnership.
