Roland Gerhards emphasized the need to invest in hydrogen infrastructure rather than only relying on short-term solutions like SAF. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Berlin's growth makes it ideal for early AAM infrastructure development, starting with peripheral areas and integrating into key hubs like Südkreuz and Tegel for a seamless urban air mobility transition. 🌍 𝗔𝗭𝗘𝗔'𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 The Alliance for Zero Emission Aviation in Europe predicts over 23,000 electric and hydrogen aircraft deliveries to European operators by 2050, highlighting the growing momentum and impact on Regional Air Mobility. ✈️ 𝗙.𝗔.𝗦.𝗧. 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Our team virtually tested and refined our NEX eVTOL aircraft through the FAST Future Aviation Simulation Technologies mixed reality simulator, gaining valuable insights and data to advance our aircraft's development. In collaboration with FAST Group, we will develop clear, remote, pilot training concepts, and remote pilot infrastructure, ensuring our pilots are well-prepared and our systems are robust.
