T cells, our immune system's elite guardians, are central to our research in tumor immunology. By modulating T cells, we can harness the immune system to fight cancer, potentially offering hope for patients who have not benefited from existing immunotherapies. Watch our video to learn more about T-cell modulation’s role in the #ScienceOfCancer. https://lnkd.in/ggeMxcQ7

At #ECTRIMS2024, we proudly hosted the "Insights Panel on Ageing with MS,” uncovering the specific challenges and needs of older adults living with #MS. Following introductions by Alexander Kulla and the presentation of realworld ms survey results with insights from the Shift.ms patient community, our expert panel highlighted the necessity of early patient-physician dialogues and the importance of minimizing immune system decline. Key insights from the survey found that: • Only 33% of MSers had conversations with their HCP regarding ageing and MS • 75% of these conversations were initiated by the MSer • 49% felt their support needs in relation to their MS had increased with age • Majority (85%) is concerned about increased risk of infection when initially deciding the treatment Thank you to our panellists, including Gavin Giovannoni, Elisabeth Kasilingam, and all attendees for an engaging discussion. #AsOneForPatients #PatientDirected

We were delighted to host our “I’M IN” satellite symposium, “Artificial Intelligence & Health Equity” last week at #ECTRIMS2024. Our expert panel had an impactful discussion on artificial intelligence’s role in addressing health disparities. Gretchen Terry-Leonard moderated the event featuring Nobel Peace Prize laureate jody Williams; Effy Vayena, Chair in Bioethics, ETH Zurich; and Riley Bove, Associate Professor of Neurology, UCSF. Thank you to our panellists for the inspiring and educational focus on bioethics, digital ethics and AI in healthcare. #AsOneForPatients
