Mast-Jägermeister SE is producer and marketer of the well-known spirit brand Jägermeister. In the company founded by Wilhelm Mast in 1878, his son Curt Mast created the most famous premium herbal liqueur Jägermeister in 1935. The recipe of 56 herbs, blossoms and roots has remained unchanged to this day. Traditionally, Jägermeister is produced exclusively in the small town of Wolfenbüttel in northern Germany. Bottling takes place at plants in Wolfenbüttel-Linden and Kamenz in Saxony. From here, the herbal liqueur in the distinctive bottle is exported to more than 150 countries worldwide. In 2022, the brand with the stag was the world's best-selling herbal liqueur, with total sales of 120.7 million 0.7-litre bottles [9,4 mio. litre cases]. Nowadays Mast-Jägermeister has succeeded in combining the great traditions of a family-owned company with innovative and exciting marketing strategies. The family-owned company employs around 1,000 people worldwide. The first overseas branch of Mast-Jägermeister SE is opened 2014 in Camberley, United Kingdom. In 2015, Mast-Jägermeister SE took over its US importer, Sidney Frank Importing Company, and set up a subsidiary in the USA. The aquisition of further subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia followed in 2019. As a family company, Mast- Jägermeister is aware of their responsibility to the people who consume the products and therefore are committed to the responsible marketing and advertising. Jägermeister pays special attention to ensure that sales, marketing, communication, and advertising activities promote the responsible enjoyment of the products by adults of legal purchase age who choose to enjoy Jägermeister.

    Creating the #bestnights - our #Jägermeister trainees had the opportunity to plan the first after-work party of our #Diversity MEISTER week after the summer break. And it really was a bestnight lived by our company - by employees, for employees. Ice cold shots, live music and networking were complemented by perfect weather and a relaxed atmosphere.   "We were very excited and honoured that we could organise this event. And the effort was well worth it.     Empowering the Next Generation: The First Global #Feierstarter Conference in London 🎉 At Jägermeister, connecting with our target audience is at the core of what we do. But how do we truly resonate with Gen Z? By letting them shape their own "Best Nights of Your Life." That’s exactly what our #Feierstarter program is all about—giving university students around the world the freedom to create their own epic experiences. Earlier this July, we took a significant step forward by hosting our first-ever Global Feierstarter Conference in London. With 20 managers and 5 Feierstarters from markets including South Korea, Germany, Brazil, and the UK, the event was a melting pot of ideas, strategies, and success stories. We heard firsthand from our Feierstarters about the incredible events they've pulled off. The conference also provided a platform for deep-dive discussions on recruitment, learning, and the unique challenges faced by different markets. It was exciting to see how each market has tailored the Feierstarter concept to fit their local needs and student cultures.     ♻ Waste as a raw material ♻ Whenever something is produced, waste is produced. This is unavoidable. But waste is not just waste that has to be disposed of. Our goal is to recycle all the waste we produce by 2025. This means that the waste will be used for a useful purpose and returned to the cycle as recyclable materials. Why is this important to us? Every year our production generates enough waste to fill 71 trucks. What do we do about it? 🚮 Materials such as glass, cardboard, plastic wraps and botanicals, which make up the majority of our waste, are collected separately and recycled. ♻ We have also found a way to recycle the aluminium from our bottle caps. 🚯 Waste prevention is also a priority; for example by reducing the use of materials, reusing materials or reducing the disposal of recyclable materials. 🔄 To implement further measures and identify potential, there is also the Team Circle. Employees can enter their topics and suggestions here to keep the project growing. What have we achieved? In 2023, the proportion of recyclable waste was 99.9 per cent. "The Zero Waste project is an important step in how we practice sustainability at our production sites. And it can only be implemented if everyone is involved.     Next-Gen Stars at Jägermeister! 🌟 We're thrilled to welcome 14 dynamic new apprentices and dual students to the #Jägermeister family in Wolfenbüttel and Kamenz! With over 550 applications, these talented individuals stood out and are ready to kickstart their careers in various roles, from Industrial Clerks and Machine Operators to IT Specialists and Hotel Management. Janna Seela, our Head of Training, emphasizes: “We believe in a comprehensive training program that spans all departments, offering the best support for our trainees. Our diverse range of training sessions and workshops foster both personal and professional growth.” Our new recruits kicked off their journey with traditional welcome days at our headquarters, where they were greeted by Board Member Christopher Ratsch. They got an insider’s tour of the Wolfenbüttel-Linden plant and explored our #Coworking space, Wolfenbrooklyn, with fun interactive activities organized by senior apprentices.     Comfort and sustainability at work: Mast-Jägermeister SE introduces new workwear! 🌿👕 We are delighted that our employees at the Jägermeister sites in Wolfenbüttel, Wolfenbüttel-Linden and Kamenz, as well as our guest service, can now wear our new #comfortable and #sustainable workwear. During a pitch day with six potential suppliers, the company dmw - die mietwäsche impressed us with their ability to meet our collection requirements. 🔹 Focus on sustainability: Organic cotton and recycled polyester are some of the materials used. Every pair of trousers or jacket contains 18 recycled PET bottles. 🌍♻️ 🔹 Increased comfort: Thanks to the use of standard collections and the involvement of internal suggestions for improvement, our employees wear the most modern and comfortable materials. 🔹 Service quality: In addition to providing workwear, dmw - die mietwäsche also takes care of the professional laundry and care of the clothing for us and equips our locations with new wardrobe systems.     In collaboration with the Rainbow Safety Alliance, we're proud to support the "Dress and Dance" initiative in Amsterdam! 🎉 Over the past year, our Jägermeister team in the Netherlands, spearheaded by Maxxium Nederland B.V. and Mast-Jägermeister Area Director Western Europe Joerg Staege, has been working closely with the Mayor of Amsterdam to create a safer, more inclusive nightlife experience across the city. As part of our #SaveTheNight initiative, Dress and Dance provides a safe, physical space for members of the #LGBTQIA community to dress up, do makeup, and express their creativity with extravagant and elaborate outfits – all in preparation for a fun night out. Located on Reguliersdwarsstraat, once known as Amsterdam's "Gay Street," the dressing rooms offer a haven where individuals can freely express themselves through fashion and connect with like-minded people before hitting nearby venues. The initiative encourages everyone to embrace diversity and celebrate individuality. Participants who use the dressing rooms receive Jägermeister vouchers redeemable for a ice cold shot in surrounding bars. Since the launch in March, over 4,400 shots have been enjoyed.     2X Global Influencer Marketing Awards WINNERS! 🤩 Last night we attended the Global Influencer Marketing Awards 2024 at The Londoner Hotel, where we received awards for both of our entries shortlisted. 🥇Best Micro-Influencer Campaign Embrace Every New Experience- Tinder We identified the core insight that University is a time period where students are exploring their identities. Dating is a core means by which students figure out exactly who they are, and Tinder wanted to be there through every step of the way, no matter what students are looking for. We executed a 360 campaign putting micro-influencers at the centre - including OOH featuring real students, UGC social and a YouTube content series ‘Tinder House’ following six single students experiences of dating. The campaign resulted in 28.6 million views vs. a KPI of 2.1 million. By presenting Tinder as an app to use to meet new people for new experiences, with consideration for user safety, the campaign resulted in seeing an increase of students who said they would use the app, and  28% of students answering yes to the question of ‘has your perception of Tinder changed in the past 3 months’. Check out our wrap up video here: https://lnkd.in/gpYs9BJA 🥈Best Use of a Small Budget- Jägermeister UK- Best Nights, DJ Akademie Since 2019, the music industry has suffered an unprecedented decline with less opportunities for young people to enter the industry. We conducted insight to find out the core issues that Gen Z were facing and recognised that networking, access to kit and being given the opportunities to perform were the issues more prevalent. Identifying these pain points, allowed us to create a culturally relevant campaign for Jägermeister, which had a clear social purpose for the brand. The DJ Akademie saw 10 student grassroots DJs from across the UK come together for a three day masterclass training experience, headed up by the likes of  Papa Nugs and Gaia from Girls Don't Sync. Following this, the Akademie members got the opportunity of a lifetime, being able to show off their new skills on the main stage, playing at a Homebass event, and an after party at Tola in Peckham. The campaign resulted in 3.1 million social reach, 1200 party attendees and 10 students being supported to start their careers.
