Betriebsfest im Europa-Park – Ein unvergesslicher Abend! 🎉 Ganz nach dem Zitat von Geschäftsführer Roland Mack: „Wer feste arbeitet, kann auch Feste feiern“, fand am vergangenen Montag, den 14.10.2024, das alljährliche Betriebsfest in der Europa-Park Arena statt. Wir hatten das Vergnügen, mit über 4.000 Kolleginnen und Kollegen der MACK Unternehmensgruppe zu feiern. Mitarbeitende aus dem Europa-Park, den Europa-Park Hotels, Rulantica, MACK Rides und VR Coaster kamen zusammen, um den Teamgeist zu stärken und auf ein erfolgreiches Jahr voller außergewöhnlicher Momente und bedeutender Meilensteine zurückzublicken. Die Highlights des Abends: ein gigantisches Buffet, das keine kulinarischen Wünsche offenließ, eine Tombola mit großartigen Preisen, die für viele strahlende Gesichter sorgte und eine fantastische Live-Band, die für eine ausgelassene Stimmung und volle Tanzflächen sorgte. Es war ein großartiger Abend voller guter Gespräche, Teamspirit und gemeinsamer Erlebnisse. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle, die dieses Fest ermöglicht haben!

The fear is back - The first Traumatica weekend is over... This weekend, Traumatica – Festival of Fear began again, and it was truly incredible! The spooky atmosphere could be felt everywhere. Our brave guests went through seven terrifying horror attractions, surrounded by over 150 monsters and creatures, pulling them into a whole new world. You could feel the excitement everywhere! I’m especially proud of a new addition that makes the experience even more intense: our Flowryde ride system, developed by Mack Rides GmbH & Co KG. Together with the VR experience "Brainshocker", we’ve created some of the scariest moments our guests have ever experienced. It’s always amazing to see how Traumatica draws people in – whether it’s the scary attractions, the shocks around every corner, or the unique atmosphere our team and performers create every year. For me, the best part is seeing guests leave Traumatica: scared, but with a smile on their faces. I’m already looking forward to the coming weeks of thrills and chills. Who’s joining us? Embracing the Future: A Journey of Passion, Innovation, and Leadership... Exactly one week ago, I had the privilege of speaking on the big IAAPA stage in Amsterdam during the CEO Talk – a moment that deeply moved me. When you look back on how it all began, you realize just how valuable these opportunities are to share your passion with industry leaders and visionaries. Standing alongside Zeina Dagher from Dubai Holding Entertainment and Scott O'Neil from Merlin Entertainments, I felt not only proud but also excited. We discussed innovation, leadership, and the challenges posed by the rapid development of artificial intelligence. It was a conversation that was not only intellectually stimulating but also focused on what truly matters in our industry: the courage to embrace change and the willingness to constantly reinvent ourselves. What impressed me the most was the shared spirit. Zeina, Scott, and I come from different corners of the world, leading different types of companies – yet we are united by the same passion for the entertainment industry. Each of us brought our own perspective, but we were all in agreement: innovation is the key to not just keeping pace but actively shaping the future. I’m excited to bring these insights back to Europa-Park Resort and MACK One, to continue creating unique experiences for our visitors. Because, at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about: inspiring people, creating memories, and passionately shaping the future. W O O H O O What an exhilarating experience at IAAPA EXPO EUROPE 2024 in Amsterdam! 🚀 The energy, innovation, and collaboration were off the charts. Why? Here we go :: Together with our amazing family members Europa-Park Resort VR Coaster GmbH & Co. KG, Mack Rides GmbH & Co KG, and 2112 STUDIOS we unveiled the #FLOWRYDE, a groundbreaking trackless dark ride system that promises to redefine the VR and non-VR experience in combination with our industry leading VR platform #COASTIALITY. 🎢 We also signed a contract for a new Launched Water Coaster for our friend at themepark PLOHN, taking the excitement to new heights combined with some splashes. 🍿MACK Animation x Brogent celebrated their collaboration by presenting the stunning movie “Fly Over Africa” - insane production technology hits creative supervision results in breathtaking moments - mission accomplished. 🎤The tradeshow was filled with inspiring talks and discussions, including a thought-provoking CEO panel featuring Mack Michael, Scott O'Neil - CEO of Merlin Entertainment, and Zeina Dagher from Dubai Holding Entertainment. 🌟 Our collaboration with Lagotronics Projects BV at the press conference for the GHOSTLY MANOR gameplay theater from Paultons Park showcased our commitment to creativity, engineering & innovation, as Mack Rides will build the theater and VR Coaster brings the digital ghost characters to life. We celebrated our achievements with Gold and Silver awards at the Park Excellence Awards and the European Star Awards, with special congratulations to our friends at Miniatur Wunderland for their well-deserved GOLD for the best FEC Attraction with their new Monaco Area! 🏆 Our Phantom of the Opera VR, a fantastic collaboration with The Really Useful Group Ltd, also earned 2nd place in the Best Media-Based Dark Ride category at Park Excellence Awards.
