We are pleased to announce that the award-winning German chef Florian Berger will be joining Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort for the culinary event Sky Stars on September 28th and 29th. Florian began his culinary journey in Austria with a classical apprenticeship before moving to Hangar 7 in Salzburg, where he honed his skills under Roland Trettl and Eckart Witzigmann. Seeking to learn from the best, he relocated to Munich to work at the renowned Tantris under Hans Haas. In 2016, at just 26 years old, he fulfilled his dream and opened his own restaurant in Munich. By February 2018, his restaurant "Gabelspiel" had received its first Michelin star, an accolade it has proudly maintained since. Florian is known for his focus on regional and seasonal ingredients, which he always presents in a sophisticated and unexpected way. His motto, "Reinterpreting the familiar – nothing is impossible – creativity and quality first," perfectly describes his approach to cooking.
