Why was Litona founded? After working in the exceptional battery team led by jeff dahn and Michael Metzger, Litona founders Sebastian Büchele and Tom Bötticher were full of energy and inspiration—it felt like the only natural step forward. Our founding story and what we're currently working on are covered in this new article by Electric Autonomy: https://lnkd.in/e3_dMe2C Special thanks to Emma Jarratt for this article. #sodiumionbatteries #greentech #deeptech

What a great sodium battery conference! ➡️ We had the opportunity to present Litona at the Sodium Battery Symposium 5 in Berlin this week and are very happy about your positive feedback! 🔋 🧂 The conference once again made it very clear that the research institutes and companies focusing on sodium-ion batteries are on the right track: Sodium-based cells have the potential to match or even surpass lithium-ion batteries in several aspects. We were also pleased to finally meet some of our customers in person. Thanks to Philipp Adelhelm and his team for organizing this great conference. ⚡️

Great news: Litona is now an official member of the upcell Alliance - a non-profit organisation of strong actors of the european battery industry! Together, we're committed to developing more efficient and sustainable energy solutions. 🌱🔋 Building a future-proof (sodium-ion) battery supply chain in Europe requires strong collaboration between European players, from raw materials to cell production and end-use. The upcell Alliance provides the network to support these collaborations. 🌍 We look forward to working together! #UpcellAlliance #sodiumionbatteries
