We support Open Innovation – Lenze shares high-quality datasets on gear motor degradation 🔓 High-quality datasets on gear motor degradation are scarce, especially in research institutes where they are crucial for developing new AI-based Condition Monitoring techniques. Even more rare are datasets on motor current data. Why? Research usually works with vibration data. These are easier to evaluate but require additional sensors and make the solution more expensive. We help bridging the motor current data gap, supporting Open Innovation and free knowledge exchange within the global research community. "Driven by this spirit, we have published a motor current dataset on gear motor degradation," explains our scientist Peter Wissbrock. "And this is just the beginning. Lenze CTO visits China - Innovative approaches and strong partnerships Our CTO, Dr. Claus Bischoff, recently had the opportunity to gain valuable insights and hold inspiring discussions with the local #TeamLenze and key partners during his trip to China. Our CTO was impressed by the hospitality, comprehensive expertise and commitment of our Chinese colleagues. The exchange with the Lenzians on site in Shanghai about visions, goals and needs as well as the strategic outlook for our 2030 portfolio was beneficial for everyone.
