KYOCERA AVX Components (Werne)´s innovative Brake by Wire Pedal sends electronic signals to the control unit instead of to a direct hydraulic connection. The ECU processes the signals and figures out the right braking force. By turning on the electric or electrohydraulic actuators at the wheels, the ECU applies the correct brake force. The Brake by Wire Pedal offers a modular design to adjust the force characteristic, pedal strokes, electrical signals, and vehicle adaptation.
