🚗 One step closer to Certification🚗 At Kopernikus Automotive, we are happy to announce that we are one step closer to reaching one of our most important goals of the last years: Proving that our AI-based Automated Vehicle Marshalling (AVM) solution is in fact functionally safe and SOTIF compliant 🛠 For this purpose, we are undergoing a rigorous assessment process with TÜV Rheinland Mobility according to all relevant automotive standards for AVD Systems 🚗 As a provider of smart infrastructure solutions for L4 driverless systems covering mixed traffic and full-scale production schemes on plant grounds and in logistic centers, we have actively chosen to pursue safety certification according to the state-of-the-art applicable safety standards, meaning IEC 61508 with relevant aspects of ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 👩💻 Well aware of the challenges we are facing in safety certifying an AI-based L4 system, we are thankful for the in-depth assessment activities taken by TÜV Rheinland that we see resulting in an improved and safer AVM system day by day 😁 We appreciate the collaboration and are looking forward to the day we can finally announce we managed to complete the assessment process and are therefore now fully safety certified 🤗 🎉🔒 #AutomatedVehicles #AIsafety #InnovationInMotion #SmartInfrastructure

Perception engineer role We are a small startup that develops autonomous driving solutions for geo-fenced areas. We already completed several projects and have a lot more in the pipeline. This is an example of our solution: https://lnkd.in/eu6KBdn2. Our Perception Team is based in Berlin, but remote work is possible. Every perception team member works on a high variety of tasks, which could include:        Creating, deploying and supporting perception algorithms to drive cars from external cameras only   Optimisation of the inference pipeline in Triton   Collecting and processing data to train our models   Finding edge cases where perception fails   Improving existing algorithms calibration techniques   Experimenting with new algorithms and models   Develop and test new features   Perform camera calibration (usually a manual process)   Deploying our solution on the client side. This could be both remote and travel to projects (mainly in Germany, but also international projects). We are specifically looking for support with our new product line that performs analysis of incoming and outcoming traffic in parking garages: tracking, counting, reading license plates,.. This is the very beginning of the project, with a lot of input into the product development, definition of perception algorithms, etc. Your profile:    You have development experience with computer vision (CV) systems running on production   You understand CV and Deep Learning   You write high-quality and well-structured Python code   You are eager to solve a problem even if you are not familiar with the topic yet.
