Here are some key points from Laura Möller's perspective at the intersection between research 👩🔬 and startup 🚀 world that she shared at the WeAreDevelopers conference yesterday.
🎤 Yesterday, I had the privilege to discuss "How is AI Changing the Leadership Role?" at the WeAreDevelopers conference. The panel was hosted by Global Women TechLeaders 💪 and expertly moderated by Laura Moritz. Thank you so much for having me. I was honored to share the stage with Nina Levchuk 🇺🇦, EMEA CSS Cluster Lead at Google, and Nica Huestegge, Vice President, Head of Digital Customer Experience at Capgemini. Here are some key points from my K.I.E.Z. Künstliche Intelligenz Entrepreneurship Zentrum perspective at the intersection between research 👩🔬 and startup 🚀 world. Embracing AI: Startups must leverage AI tools to amplify their impact and accelerate their growth despite constantly limited availability of resources. However, it is crucial for founders to remain vigilant to avoid pitfalls from AI-supercharged shortcuts. Adaptability: The pace of AI and GenAI research is incredibly fast, making adaptability a vital trait for teams. Startups need to stay agile, continuously learning and evolving to keep up with the latest advancements and integrate them effectively into services, products and operations. Navigating regulation - in the EU: The introduction of the AI Act presents both challenges and opportunities. While regulation generally favours incumbents they also find it difficult to innovate within stringent regulatory frameworks. Startups have the unique opportunity challenge regulation, especially in areas where societal needs are pressing, such as elderly care amidst demographic changes. This requires startup leaders to strike a delicate balance but holds immense potential for impactful AI innovation. In conclusion, while AI is transforming leadership roles and business operations, it is imperative for startup leaders to approach it with a strategic and mindful perspective. #AI #Leadership #Startups #Innovation #Adaptability #TechForGood #WeAreDevelopers #GlobalWomenInTech
