Flugzeug-Leasing im Höhenflug: Fliegen wird teurer, Investoren können profitieren   Die aktuelle Lage in der Luftfahrtbranche zeigt deutlich, wie stark sich Lieferengpässe auf den Leasingmarkt auswirken. Boeing und Airbus haben mit Produktionsproblemen zu kämpfen, und die Nachfrage nach Flugzeugen übersteigt bei weitem das Angebot. Schließlich möchte man auf Flugzeuge mit weniger CO2-Ausstoß (wie der Airbus A320neo) setzen.    Das Handelsblatt wollte von Stephan Gundermann, Leiter Portfolio-Management Aviation bei KGAL, wissen, wie er den Flugzeugleasingmarkt einschätzt: "Die Mietraten für Kurz- und Mittelstreckenjets sind deutlich gestiegen, und auch moderne Langstreckenflugzeuge sind wieder stark gefragt." Die Ticketpreise müssen dann anziehen, um die gestiegenen Kosten auszugleichen. Aber insbesondere im Freizeitbereich bleibt das Interesse an Reisen  und damit die Flugbereitschaft hoch.    Diese Entwicklung freut Investoren: Die Flugzeugmieten für Airlines steigen und versprechen gute Renditechancen. Stephan Gundermann erwartet für Investoren mit gutem Marktzugang und Branchennetzwerk zweistellige Renditen bei moderatem Risiko.      Die KGAL will die aktuellen Chancen nutzen. 📢 KGAL ESPF 5 acquires wind farm in Germany Our impact fund KGAL ESPF 5 has successfully bid for three wind turbines from BayWa r.e. EMEA. in Reichenbach, Rhineland-Palatinate, near Kaiserslautern. With a total capacity of 18.6 megawatts (MW), the Vestas turbines will be connected to the grid in November 2024, ensuring stable cash flows through a 20-year feed-in tariff. Our impact fund KGAL ESPF 6 participates in the development of one of Europe’s most important green hydrogen hubs. In collaboration with PtX Development and GP JOULE Gruppe, the project at Lubmin, a Baltic Sea port in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania will repurpose the site of a former nuclear power plant to establish a green hydrogen production hub. The first phase, with a capacity of 210 megawatts, is expected to be completed by 2028, followed by an additional 840 megawatts in the subsequent phase. Impact investing is ultimately about preserving a livable planet. 🌍 This was made very clear to participants at the 'Expert Forum: Adaptation and Mitigation Finance' at the ESMT Berlin in September. Ottmar Edenhofer, Director and Chief Economist at the PIK - Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, put it succinctly in his keynote speech: „If we don't phase out fossil fuels soon and invest sufficiently in climate protection, the costs of climate damage will become unaffordable.“ In addition to climate protection, impact investment also aims to achieve equal opportunities and social change in developing and emerging economies. Numerous guests, including State Secretary Jörg Kukies, Anja Langenbucher of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Axel van Trotsenburg of the The World Bank, gave presentations and discussed the best ways to achieve these goals. Thomas G. Engelmann, CFA, CAIA, Head of Energy Transition at KGAL and CEO of the Power-to-X D&G GmbH, presented the KfW PtX Development Fund as a case study: 💬 „The financing of green hydrogen projects in seven developing countries shows how the PtX Fund can contribute to climate protection and a just transition.“ As manager of the PtX Development Fund, KGAL has reviewed well over 100 applications for funding. The dozen is completed! KGAL ESPF 5 acquires a solar park cluster in Saxony-Anhalt with a total capacity of 120 megawatt. ☀️ This marks the twelfth transaction of our impact fund. KGAL ESPF 5 has expanded its portfolio with two new solar parks near Magdeburg – Calvörde West and Grauingen. The two plants complement the Calvörde Ost solar park acquired at the beginning of 2023. The Calvörde cluster has a total capacity of 120 megawatts   "Thanks to its strong positioning in the EEG auctions, the Calvörde cluster secures attractive long-term cash flows for the next 20 years," says Carsten Haubner, CFA, Portfolio Manager at KGAL. The seller is CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (CA Immo).    Vienna is a very attractive office market due to its economic momentum and location in the heart of Europe. The dynamically growing city is one of the most prosperous regions in Europe. ‘The vacancy rate is at a record low of around 3.5 percent.
