JRS Pharma divests its shares in the Sudeep Pharma Joint Venture. JRS Pharma GmbH Co. KG (Germany) and Sudeep Pharma Pvt. Ltd. (India) have jointly decided to end their Joint Venture and the distribution of COMPREZ® Grades with immediate effect. This is a result of a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) entered into by the two companies. In terms of the SPA, Sudeep shareholders had committed to buy back all shares in Sudeep Pharma Pvt. Ltd. owned by the Joint Venture Partner JRS and thus regaining 100% control of Sudeep Pharma. Completion of the transaction has occurred on July 5th, 2024. Both Sudeep Pharma and JRS Pharma assure all stakeholders that this transaction will have no impact on current operations or product availability. JRS Group remains fully committed to its strong presence in the Indian market and plans to expand further in future. JRS will continue to grow and to invest in India through its fully owned affiliate Rettenmaier India Private Limited and its joint venture company Gujarat Microwax Private Limited, and is poised to explore new growth opportunities and ventures.
