🌟 Exciting times at JCI Academy in Fukui, Japan! The first days were filled with engaging activities such as the School Visit Program at MINORI, KAMISHIHI, NAKAFUJI, and KIDA Elementary Schools. Insightful briefing sessions for both overseas and domestic delegates were held, along with the Ceremonial Prayer for Success and much more. We are proud to announce the launch of Human Duties Day from the UN! Here's a brief overview of our journey: In 2022: - Nov 2, Hong Kong: JCI General Assembly approved the Universal Declaration of Human Duties for Leaders. - "Human Duties" was included in JCI's Constitution. Moving forward to 2023: - May 11, Austria: Ban Ki-moon endorsed the Declaration. Progressing into 2024: - Jan 25: A signature campaign petition to the UN was initiated. - July 1, New York: Human Duties Day was officially launched at a JCI event in UN Headquarters. - Mayor Adams proclaimed the day in New York City. - The NY State Assembly declared July 10 as International Human Duties Day. Our next step is set for July 10, 2024, where we aim to mobilize young leaders globally to emphasize the importance of upholding our duties with the same vigor as our rights. #JCI #internationalhumandutiesday #letsmakeadifference
