HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US - IVY OAK TURNS 8 "Made to last" was the first sentence Caroline Gentz wrote in her empty sketchbook in spring 2015 in Berlin, the city where she grew up. The brand's story started in Caroline's living room, her mind filled with ideas and fears as she embarked on a journey fueled by a simple idea and a passion for timeless, elegant fashion, coupled with a desire for radical transparency and change. IVY OAK was launched with the aim of creating high-quality and ethically produced clothing for modern women. The goal was to provide pieces that seamlessly fit into any wardrobe, enduring throughout a lifetime, supporting your very individual style. IVY OAK has always challenged the status quo and will continue to do so, playing its part in advancing towards a more circular economy. On May 3, 2016, our brand went live, marking the beginning of a journey that we celebrate today as our birthday. Our journey began with a small collection of carefully crafted coats, dresses, blouses, and skirts, all designed in Berlin with a focus on quality materials and impeccable tailoring. Everything is done in-house, from design to pattern-making, sourcing, and buying. We trust our skills and own the architecture of each product. From the very beginning, sustainability and ethical production practices have been at the forefront of our brand's ethos. IVY OAK quickly gained a loyal following and built a community that cares.
