In light of the increasing number of cyberattacks, IT security is becoming ever more important. How well software providers are positioned in this area plays a crucial role in the decision-making process for companies. That’s why we make sure to stay up to date in this field and meet all necessary requirements. A few weeks ago, our  Information Security & Data Protection Officer, Yannick, attended the IT-Security Day in Erfurt. In several workshops, he gained in-depth experience on how to build an IT security management system, ensure cybersecurity in companies, and consider the legal aspects when implementing chatbots and AI tools. Here are Yannick’s key takeaways: 🔐 Efficient ISMS Management: I have learned new approaches on how we can implement and manage our ISMS more effectively. This helps us better integrate information security into our daily business operations and more effectively meet our compliance requirements. 🤖 Data Protection for AI Products: When developing and operating AI-powered products, it is crucial that we use data protection-compliant solutions. Especially when selecting training data for our AI, we should carefully ensure that the data complies with privacy regulations. ⚡ Cyberattacks on SMEs: An important takeaway was that cyberattacks are increasingly targeting small and medium-sized enterprises. This makes it all the more important that we protect ourselves with the right cybersecurity strategy, which is also integrated into our ISMS. #ITSecurity #DataSecurity #DataProtection
