Did you know that 🇫🇮 Finland is very active in the development of the 🇪🇺 📲 #Identity #Wallet? They participate in 3 out of the 4 large scale pilots and also actively share development insights of their own wallet! Here is what you need to know:
The preparatory work is being coordinated by the Ministry of Finance, which has set up a project to implement the Regulation obligations. The term of the project is 26 April 2024–31 December 2026. The key task of the Ministry of Finance’s project is to guide the implementation of the national digital identity wallet, which is the responsibility of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.
The Digital and Population Data Services Agency #DVV is developing the wallet application, ensuring compatibility with existing eID and trust services, and is participating in technical specification work. The DVV already provides a comprehensive set of documentation, guidelines and descriptions of user flows for the wallet! (see link in the comments). Traficom is involved in the technical specification group.
They are testing and piloting use cases in the following large scale pilots:

Findynet Cooperative a consortium of many public and private partners is also very active in the eIDAS space and already pilots several use cases.
It’s great to see such an engagement as well as public sharing of data from the Finnish community. I’m looking forward to test the Finnish EUDI-Wallet with our Lissi GmbH #API software.
