University of Manchester 🏆. What a great historical 🏛 , academic 🔬📚 , and inspiring 💡 location. For sure, also for an IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) working group meeting. Thank you, Prof. zhongdong wang, for the outstanding hospitality and for having the opportunity to get an inside to the high voltage test lab ⚡ as well to the dielectric material/oil ⚗ lab of the engineering faculty.
This week our IEC working group meeting “revision of the standard IEC 60076-18” made another great step forward.
This group of international experts, came together to continue the discussions on how the frequency response analyses “FRA”, can help engineers to evaluate the condition of power transformers.
The different points of view of the members, such as measurement device manufacturers, transmission service operators, transformer manufacturers, academic researchers and service providers makes a good mixture to shape the standard to a common reasonable, applicable, and understandable document. Not to forget, the revised standard will also come closer to harmonize IEEE Std. C57.149 with IEC 60076-18.
As usual, it was a great pleasure to meet and discuss with you:
zhongdong wang, Dahlina Sofian, Dan Zhou, Alexander Kraetge, Andreas Ramerstorfer, Pascal Fehlmann, Arnt Tødenes, peter werelius, Evgenii Ermakov, Rafal Zaleski, Mario Locarno, Patrick Picher, Jean SANCHEZ
