We had a fantastic summer party! Our team celebrated in true Bavarian style with a themed "Bavarian Biergarten" party. The event was filled with lots of fun as we enjoyed nostalgic ‘Schiffschaukel’ swingboat rides, the thrilling ‚Hau den Lukas‘ high striker game, and traditional Bavarian dancing. We were treated to delicious fried chicken, Bavarian-style cold cuts and typical beer straight from Munich. It was wonderful to see so many colleagues in traditional Lederhosen and Dirndl, adding to the festive atmosphere. This is the ‚Stadtradeln‘ HEINE cyclists team spirit!!!   This year’s three weeks of Stadtradeln (city biking) for more cycling promotion, climate protection and quality of life in the municipality are just finished. The HEINE team of 38 can be proud of their biking results. An amazing 8250 biked kilometers account for an average of 217 km per person.   Following the idea of this initiative, the HEINE cyclists left their car at home and took the bicycle instead for commuting to work and any other distances they needed to cover. A few of the colleagues even met in groups on the way to work. And the best biking route tips were shared next to the coffee machine or water cooler.   Besides the reduced carbon imprint of biking instead of taking the car, all of them definitely further increased their physical fitness – and had a lot of fun too.
