𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬: 𝐑𝐄𝐉𝐎𝐎𝐋’𝐬 𝐇𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 For #hydrogen to be of interest in the building sector to efficiently and locally power buildings and store excess energy, it must not take up too much space. The problem is that hydrogen compressors are unpopular because they are large and inefficient. REJOOL’s innovative compression technology addresses these issues. The start-up has developed the PIONYR - a hermetic, dry-running piston hydrogen compressor with magnetic coupling that can compress green hydrogen up to 350 bar with a variable input of up to 40 bar. Elementarhy produces Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA1-77) for PEM electrolyzer. Their technology uses only a fraction of iridium, making #hydrogen and other gases more affordable. Germany wins with WIN 💶 Germany is taking concrete steps to add an important component to a good system of seed and early-stage financing: Growth capital! The #WINinitiative has now been presented in Berlin, which as a first step aims to provide €12 billion in private capital to strengthen the ecosystem. This is an important stimulus to enable German start-ups to grow in Germany. At the same time, the framework conditions for banks, insurance companies, foundations, etc. to become more involved in the VC sector will be improved. This is also good news for hydrogen start-ups! We are curious to see which promising companies will benefit from this wave of private capital... What do you think?
