⚡Exciting news about new net-metering rules in Kenya! The new net-metering rules allow energy prosumers—those who both generate their own energy and buy from the grid—to feed excess electricity they generate back into the grid to offset their future consumption.  This is especially beneficial for those without battery systems to store their unused energy. 🌍This initiative is a big step towards a greener future for Kenya by promoting sustainability and incentivizing adoption of renewable energy. Last week, we were at the Uganda Solar Energy Association National Solar expo! Our Regional Sales Manager Andrew Festo Kasule held a presentation on Financing Opportunities and models in the Solar sector. He also took part in an open discussion alongside Spenomatic Group, enPower.life and Davis & Shirtliff. Key point that was pushed from every attendee was the lack of awareness of solar within the C&I sector: "There is a need to continuously sensitize, educate, and inform people, customers, industries & commercial entities regarding solar, its benefits, and financing opportunities available" said Andrew.
