🏎 🏁Formula Student Fahr- und Applikationsevent in Boxberg: Ein voller Erfolg! 🏁 🏎    Kennst du Formula Student? Formula Student ist ein Konstruktionswettbewerb, bei dem Teams von unterschiedlichen Hochschulen und Universitäten aus aller Welt in verschiedenen Disziplinen mit ihren selbst konstruierten Rennwägen gegeneinander antreten. Bosch, Bosch Engineering GmbH, ETAS und ITK Engineering sind hier als Sponsor seit Jahren aktiv. In diesem Rahmen bieten wir unseren gesponsorten Teams in Vorbereitung auf die anstehenden Wettkämpfe unser jährliches Fahr- und Applikationsevent auf unserer Teststrecke in #Boxberg an. Und letztes Wochenende war es endlich wieder so weit: mit großer Freude durften wir letzten Freitag und Samstag 13 Teams begrüßen, die ihre Fähigkeiten unter Beweis stellten und wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln konnten. Unsere Expert:innen der ITK Engineering, ETAS, Bosch und Bosch Engineering standen den Teams mit fachlicher Unterstützung und wertvollen Tipps zur Seite. Die Fahrzeuge durchliefen verschiedene Inspektionen und Tests, wie Bremstest und Regentest. Nach der mechanischen Abnahme ging es auf die Strecke für die ersten Fahrversuche.  Ein bedeutsamer Unterschied in diesem Jahr: erstmalig waren keine Verbrennermotoren am Start, sondern nur noch #Elektromotoren! Diese neue Herausforderung haben alle hervorragend gemeistert 🙌 Ebenfalls NEU in diesem Jahr: Erstmalig hatten die Teams die Möglichkeit ihr Können und Wissen in den statischen Disziplinen in den Kategorien Cost & Manufactoring, Business Plan und Engineering Design auf die Probe zu stellen. "Die verschiedenen Disziplinen haben uns sehr weitergeholfen, weil die Fachleute uns auf Sachen hingewiesen haben, die wir vorher nicht im Blick hatten. Kessler Co unterstützt junge Talente und Entwickler. Erst kürzlich durften wir einen Teil des Rennteam Uni Stuttgart e.V. bei uns in Abtsgmünd begrüßen. Das Rennteam Uni Stuttgart ist ein studentischer Verein, der mit seinen selbst entwickelten, innovativen Rennwagen seit 2006 erfolgreich an der Formula Student, dem weltweit größten Konstruktionswettbewerb, teilnimmt. Kessler Co unterstützt das Team bereits seit mehreren Jahren als Hauptsponsor. Neben der finanziellen Unterstützung fertigen unsere Auszubildenden in der Lehrwerkstatt regelmäßig neue Teile für das Rennteam an. Rennteam Uni Stuttgart e.V. @ MAHLE Last week, an exciting event with the Formula Student Racing Team of the University of Stuttgart took place at MAHLE in Bad Cannstatt. Ahead of the actual competitions , this event provided a valuable opportunity to inspect the teams' race cars and business plans and receive direct feedback from our experts. We held intensive discussions about innovative solutions and forward-looking projects with talented technical and business students working in the field of e-mobility. Rolf Müller, Corporate Advanced Engineering Mechatronics and primarily responsible for the cooperation with FSG, sums it up: "We support Formula Student teams out of conviction. Leading a complex project, consisting of many individual disciplines, to success as a team in a defined period of time with limited resources - what better way to prepare the future career starters?" This challenge and its associated learning effect motivate us to promote young talents in this area. The event was not only a test run for the actual competition, but also an excellent opportunity to build new relationships and present MAHLE as an innovative employer. Das Rennteam Uni Stuttgart e.V. 🏎️ besuchte uns letzte Woche zu einem intensiven Workshop. Als stolzer Sponsor dieses innovativen studentischen Vereins, der seit 2006 an der Formula Student Germany teilnimmt, haben wir den Studierenden wertvolle Einblicke und praxisnahes Wissen vermittelt. Nach einer kurzen Kennenlernsession, bei der unsere legendäre EVO-Brezel 🥨 nicht fehlen durfte, folgte eine spannende Führung durch unsere modernen Labore und Testflächen, in denen wir die Mobilität von morgen entwickeln. Danach gab es eine Einführung in die Grundlagen des Projektmanagements. Unser Fachexperte Lucas zeigte den Studierenden, wie man Aufgaben priorisiert und effektiv im Team arbeitet🤝. Anschließend präsentierten die Studierenden ihre Businesspläne📈. Unser EVO Kollegium, bestehend aus Maren, John, Sebastian und Gerhard, leiteten diese Sessions, bei der unsere Geschäftsführung die Rolle der Judges übernahm und die Pitches nach Formula Student Vorgaben bewertete. Die Videoanalyse und das detaillierte Feedback halfen den Studierenden, ihre Präsentationsfähigkeiten weiter zu verfeinern.  Der Tag endete mit einem gemeinsamen Abendessen, das weiteren Austausch ermöglichte. Wir sind stolz darauf, das Rennteam der Uni Stuttgart zu unterstützen und freuen uns, zur Entwicklung zukünftiger Ingenieuren und Führungskräfte beizutragen🚀.  -- The racing team from the University of Stuttgart visited us at EVOMOTIV last week for an intensive workshop. As a proud sponsor of this innovative student organisation, which has been taking part in Formula Student since 2006, we provided the students with valuable insights and practical knowledge. After a short introductory session, which included our legendary EVO pretzel🥨, the students were given an exciting tour of our modern laboratories and test areas, where we are developing the mobility of tomorrow. This was followed by an introduction to the basics of project management. Our technical expert Lucas showed the students how to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a team🤝. The students then presented their business plans📈. Our EVO team, consisting of Maren, John, Sebastian and Gerhard, led these sessions, in which our management took on the role of judges and assessed the pitches according to Formula Student guidelines. The video analysis and detailed feedback helped the students to further refine their presentation skills. The day ended with a joint dinner, which allowed for further dialogue. 21 Judges und 80 Studierende aus acht Formula Student Rennteams: das war das #Porsche Prejudging Am Dienstag durften wir acht Formula Student Teams bei uns im Ausbildungszentrum in Zuffenhausen begrüßen. Das Ziel: Zugang zu den Talenten von morgen sichern. 💪 Die Veranstaltung konzentrierte sich auf die Vorbereitung der Teams für die bevorstehenden Formula Student Rennevents im Sommer. Unsere Judges bewerteten die Teams in verschiedenen Disziplinen wie Engineering Design, Cost and Manufacturing sowie Business-Plan Presentation. Dies bot den Studierenden eine unvergleichliche Gelegenheit, wertvolle Einblicke und Ratschläge von Experten aus verschiedenen Fachbereichen, darunter Entwicklung, Produktion und IT sowie von Kollegen der Porsche Engineering, zu erhalten. Zusätzlich zum Judging erhielten die Studierenden eine Führung durch das Ausbildungszentrum, Einblicke in die spannende Welt der Batterieentwicklung bei Porsche und der Porsche Engineering und einen abschließenden Rundgang durch unser Porsche Museum. As you’ve probably noticed, we had our special day on the 17th of May – the rollout of our new racing car, X0711-1! 🔥 For those of you who couldn’t be there or didn’t watch the livestream, we’d like to take a quick look at this eventful day: At around 6pm we welcomed our first guests at the Audimax of the University of Stuttgart. The guests were able to view old racing cars from recent seasons of GreenTeam and Rennteam in front of the entrance. In the entrance hall, Wunschbar provided our guests with a wide variety of drinks and those interested were able to test the racing simulator, which was kindly provided by HUCON AG. The actual presentation took place in the Audimax. We used presentations, interviews and videos to tell the guests what the last few months have been like for us and what makes the car so special. And then the time had come: The green cloth was removed from the new racing car and X0711-1 was presented to the public for the first time! 🏎️ Standing together as a team on the stage next to the result of our months of work was a very special moment for all of us! That’s why we afterwards celebrated the event with cold drinks, food from the buffet and food truck and in a good mood. May we introduce: The X0711-1 is our new racing car of the 2024 season! 🔥 This car is the result of months of work by over 50 team members and the generous support of numerous sponsors and helpers. We as a team have decided to use the name and the letter “X” to emphasize the crossing of the two paths of GreenTeam and Rennteam. The new car represents the combination of the years of experience of both teams, which is also reflected in the design of the car.
