Last week, we hosted more than 65 global guests at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in Munich, together with The Wharton School GCE Counsellors at Law LegalHelix GmbH Boston Consulting Group (BCG). La semana pasada, tuve el honor de disertar en el seminario: “The Rule of LAW in the era of Integrity & Compliance” organizado por GCE Counsellors at Law y Boston Consulting Group (BCG), que tuvo lugar en la Universidad de Múnich (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München).  Allí, pude exponer sobre los cambios normativos en materia de lavado de activos en nuestro país, como también, acerca de algunas modificaciones propuestas en la flamante “Ley Bases”, y su impacto en materia de programas de prevención. In his keynote address on "Digitalisation, AI and Compliance", Bavaria's Minister of Justice Georg Eisenreich underscored the competitive challenges that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face due to the increasing regulatory scope in Germany. Thank you, Minister, for providing such a clear approach to this complex topic and explaining what has been observed in Bavaria! This interesting panel gave rise to a discussion that continued inbetween sessions, on how AI can both power compliance solutions as well as present new challenges to market players just as this panel highlighted. To say the least, it introduced the subsequent session titled "Beyond the AI Act" of the European Union very nicely! #AI #digitalisation #integrity #corporate #compliance #justice
