In 2000, immediately after completing my studies, I got a job at a scientific research institute that also produced electronic modules. It was then that I learnt about the reality of production, testing, tuning and troubleshooting electronic modules, which I had previously only known in theory. I was handed a stack of circuit boards, sat down at a table with a power supply and an oscilloscope and told to ‘get started’. That was the start of my journey into the electronics industry. The circuit boards I worked with back then were bulky and resembled those I had seen inside an old television set that I had dismantled as a child. Entire assembly halls were dedicated to their construction, where workers in white coats sat at their workstations all day long, concentrating on their work. We also had an old wave soldering machine, but it was rarely used. When I saw how it worked, the first thought that came to my mind was: ‘So you can solder like that too.’ We had never been told about this at university. And it seemed to me that this had always been the case and would continue to be the case in the future. Printed circuit boards had to be bulky and soldering had to be done by workers in white coats or with the old wave soldering machine. Until I was handed the first devices that were manufactured using surface mounting technology. That was a novelty for us at the time - and a new era began. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴   We said goodbye to a very special colleague last week: Nagy Árpád (Service manager/Hungarian Branch in Budapest) joined FUJI EUROPE CORPORATION in 1999 as the first employee for our Hungarian branch. Since then, 25 years have passed and an impressive career lies behind the former service technician, who worked his way up and became the service manager of our Hungarian branch.   Árpád has always tirelessly supported all our Hungarian and EU customers. His expertise and commitment are legendary, especially when it comes to installing machines and modules. Thanks to him, around 4,000 machines and modules have been successfully installed - an impressive figure that reflects his work ethic.   But as the saying goes, every goodbye is also a new beginning. In his well-earned retirement, Árpád plans to travel the world.   Árpád, we thank you for your outstanding work, your commitment and the many wonderful moments we were able to share with you. You will leave a big gap here at FUJI, but we are happy for you that you now have more time to realise your dreams. All the best for your future - wherever you may be.

𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝?   The demand for ever smaller, more powerful and more cost-efficient electronic devices is growing. In addition, the miniaturisation and individualisation of electronic components is continuing. This makes it challenging to maintain quality.   Our webinar "𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬" therefore focuses on the quality aspect of the placement process. We explain in detail the various functions that ensure quality during placement. Using a CG animation, we will let you take a look inside the latest NXTR placement machine.   For more information and to register, click here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eD4j-7Sb

The #KelsterLab opened on June 14, 2024. This project is supported by the "Starke Heimat Hessen" funding programme. FUJI EUROPE CORPORATION GmbH would also like to actively support KelsterLab as an expert in the field of digitalisation in the future. 🤝   The KelsterLab offers the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops or obtain advice on all aspects of digitalisation. On this basis, joint solutions can also be developed for more efficient and sustainable living and working in Kelsterbach. 🌱 The focus is also on STEM subjects (maths, computer science, natural sciences, technology) for the younger population group. KelsterLab offers everyone the opportunity to get involved in trending topics and further their education in the digital, technical field. We think that's great! 🎉
