With our colleagues from our Lippstadt location, we spend an evening full of joy, memories, and great moments. "The big FORVIA HELLA anniversary show" was a real highlight, with moderator Steven Gätjen delivering an impressive performance alongside the management board. The future of commercial vehicles begins now – and we’re right in the middle of it! 🚚💡 At the @IAA Transportation 2024, we showcased what innovation truly means. As a leading platform for the logistics and transport industry, the exhibition was the perfect stage for us to present our latest solutions for the commercial vehicle sector – and with great success! One of my personal highlights? The Future Trailer Lighting System, which grabbed all the attention – and gave me a direct starting point for exciting conversations with our customers. What I took away: Our vision for the future of mobility is particularly convincing due to its focus on sustainability and efficiency. 🔮 We are digitizing lighting for more sustainability: This reduces wiring and saves material costs. Additionally, we lower the overall weight of commercial vehicles, improve fuel efficiency, and reduce the CO2 footprint. This helps our customers in the fleet and commercial vehicle manufacturing sector achieve their sustainability goals. 🔮 We are enabling trucks and trailers to communicate with each other for greater efficiency: With an advanced ECU (Electronic Control Unit), we enable CAN communication (Controller Area Network). This ensures better communication between trailer components and the towing vehicle, resulting in increased efficiency. Megatrends like electromobility, digitalization, and autonomous driving are presenting the entire industry with great challenges. But we see them as opportunities – and are developing tailor-made solutions that not only support our SOE customers on their way to safer and more sustainable mobility: from new headlights and roof marker lights to innovative electronic components that optimize battery management and comfort – these technologies are driving the transformation.
