    💚 Green Beauty Week 2024 💚 This week is all about conscious beauty! flaconi is again on board this year for the important initiative for more responsibility, awareness and transparency in the beauty industry by our partners from the VKE-Kosmetikverband. This project aims to focus on sustainable products for a greener future and to ensure a better understanding of sustainability criteria in the areas of packaging, ingredients, production and responsibility. Learn more about the initiative on our dedicated landing page, the different criteria and products and projects that are supported during this week. We are creating awareness on our social media and PR channels to give our conscious brand partners visibility and ensure a transparent shopping experience for our customers.     #FlaconiFaces – From Logistics to Customer Service 🤗 At flaconi, we have so many people with different passions, skills and personalities coming together. Some of them have been with us for a really long time and we are always  happy to see their journeys and development within the company. One of them is Daniela Kilka and she shared her story with us: My journey at flaconi started 7.5 years ago and I am grateful to have been given this opportunity as a lateral entrant. Before I joined flaconi, I started my apprenticeship as a warehouse specialist when I was 15. I always liked to be on the move and not be in an office all day, but well what can I say…😊 Here I am today at my favorite office job of all time and I could not be happier. My health forced me to reorient myself and I met my colleague Daniela Glassl at a job event in 2016 where she represented flaconi. We exchanged a lot and she told me how there was the opportunity to apply for logistics, but also for customer service. I decided to seize the chance and I was so happy to be invited for an interview and a work trial… and got the job! 🤩 Looking back I can say that in all these years I have been able to develop year after year, not only through the support within the team, but also because flaconi offers a lot of benefits and trainings for its employees, be it language courses, sports programmes, mental health offers, events and much more. 🙌 7.5 years later, I am now a Senior Manager in Customer Care & Fraud and have not yet reached the end of my journey. I'm looking forward to many more years with a great team in a great company and to continuing to develop and grow. 🙌 #flaconi #ecommerce #customerservice

    flaconi @ the P7S1 Data & AI Expo 💡 As a data-driven company and with our company values #livingdata, #embracechange and #buildfast2last in mind, it is important for us to always stay up to date and keep an eye on current trends and developments. Exchanging and sharing knowledge with partners and experts play an essential role and help us to grow and learn. That’s why we were excited to join the Data & AI Expo where numerous colleagues from ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE and its subsidiaries gathered at the Unterföhring campus to learn, exchange and connect with several Data & AI teams. From exciting presentations and interactive training sessions to the latest projects and initiatives, the day was all about Data & AI. Seven team members from our Data department went to Munich and presented GerdaAI - flaconis very own AI customer care support colleague - and exchanged with the other experts on our data platform migration and other core projects we are currently working on. The Expo was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, talk about latest trends, but also challenges and how to approach them.     flaconi x MML Public Viewing ⚽🎉 The European Championship is coming to an end but we are still into soccer and especially our favorite soccer podcasts MML. Since October 2023, flaconi commercials have been featured in MML, and for the European Championship, we wanted to take it up a notch: flaconi was the Official Partner of the MML GmbH Public Viewing at Tim Mälzer’s Bullerei in Hamburg! The Public Viewing events were a huge success across the country, and we were thrilled to be part of this event. Together we delivered real beauty experiences, engaged with fans in person and created entertaining beauty-soccer content for our social channels, reflecting the excitement and unique atmosphere of the events. Additionally, we continued to be featured as a partner in several episodes of the MML and MML Daily podcasts! 🚀 Thank you to the hosts and everyone involved who made these matchdays unforgettable. It was a great collaboration and a rewarding experience!     #LearnFromTheBest – K5 2024 🌟 It’s a wrap! The K5 - Future Retail Conference opened the gates again for one of the most important events in the E-Commerce world. We were super excited to visit the conference with more than 30 flaconis and enjoy two days packed with many opportunities to learn, exchange and network. And our highlight? Three of our flaconis were able to be on stage and to share their knowledge: 🚀 CEO Bastian Siebers held a keynote about “The Power of WE-Commerce: How trust and long term partnerships become a key success factor” 🚀 CTO Sven Rosemann presented “Digital transformation meets customer experience - How flaconi and Algolia revolutionizes the search” 🚀 Head of Strategy David Rissmann was part of a masterclass about “Understand what your customers think and want” with pinops consumer research There was also a special activity happening next to the stages: we had our own flaconi claw machine where the visitors could grab some “beauty candy”. 💄 With our partners from L'Oréal we were able to offer some amazing prizes and goodies and made the K5 smell so nice! 😋 It was an inspiring conference with so many interesting speakers, exhibitors and guests.     Empowering Women in Tech: flaconi @ GirlCode 🚀 flaconi recently had the chance to be part of a special event empowering women in tech organized by the global women in tech community GirlCode. Besides flaconi, the event featured three esteemed panelists from Scout24 SE, Nordcloud, an IBM Company and Beamery, who shared valuable and interesting insights on career pivots, advancement, and leadership in tech. Kalpana Devi, Engineering Manager at flaconi, discussed the challenges and triumphs of being a woman in tech, emphasizing flaconi’s commitment to making the company an attractive workplace for women in tech such as an inclusive recruitment plan, quarterly bias salary checks, flexible working hours, support for child care, inclusive benefits and zero tolerance for discrimination.  More than 60 attendees enthusiastically participated in the event, creating a vibrant atmosphere for exchange and learning. It concluded with a dynamic networking session, fostering connections and community among attendees.     flaconi Beauty Report 2024 💄 It's finally ready: Our newest - and fully digital - edition of our flaconi Beauty Report made its way to flaconi.de. 🥳 The flaconi Beauty Report is a data driven and powerful communication tool that underlines flaconi’s beauty expertise on one hand but on the other is also a platform for our love brands and best-selling products, entertaining facts and trends. That’s why we are especially proud and happy that we now went from print to 100 % digital and created a new touchpoint and exciting content not only for the media, but also for our customers, partners and all beauty enthusiasts. 35 billion lashes coated with mascara, 2.300 bathtubs filled with perfume and 13 million hair washes – Our customers went head over heels with online shopping at flaconi in the last year. 🤩 Our PR & Communications team scanned and analyzed flaconi beauty data together with the Data & Analytics team to find lots and lots of these interesting fun facts in customer behavior. Together with our Engineering team and our creative partners ISARSPREE kreation we then brought a landingpage to life, where all our beauty highlights came together in a beautiful, editorial-like and dynamic look.     Customer Communication Goals 🌟 In the past few days, we've launched an old but gold new feature in customer communication: Back in Stock. And for this occasion our Head of CRM, Julia Piep, is happy to dive into this topic as well as to share some interesting insights from the CRM team with you today: I started at flaconi six years ago, back when there were just three of us in the CRM team. Now, we’re looking for our tenth team member – what a fantastic development! 🚀 Looking back at our achievements over the past few years, I’m thrilled to share some of our highlights: We've introduced an AI tool for a more targeted customer approach. Additionally, we’ve increased our campaign automation, such as our newly launched “back in stock” campaign and our customer lifecycle communication that now contributes a significant percentage of our CRM revenue of 56%. 💰 And last year, we made a big leap in gamification to boost engagement. 🎮 At flaconi, retaining our existing customers is vital and a key pillar of our strategy house and this means that even more exciting times and great projects are yet to come! But we're also gearing up for scalability to support international growth and supercharging our multi-channel communication  and loyalty actions. 📲 I can’t wait to look back in 1-2 years and see our progress.     Supplier Day 2024 🤝 It was time for another Supplier Day at flaconi, where we invited our partners and brands to our flaconi headquarters in Berlin. We had a wonderful day full of networking, exchanging ideas, inspiring discussions and celebrating brand partnerships. Since #WeCommerce is part of our DNA, maintaining strong relationships with our partners is not only the focus of this event but also an essential and important value for our every day business. The day began with an opening speech and introduction from our VP Retail Media Martin Hoffmann and our Management Board. Bastian Siebers and Alexandra Szarmach gave our guests an overview of our current mission and vision and why the topic “WE-Commerce” is so important to us. This was followed by presentations from our flaconi experts on the topics of supply chain, retail media, CRM, data solutions and commercial events. We also had the pleasure of welcoming three wonderful guest speakers Corinna Hohenleitner (Criteo), Magali Kirsch (SoPost) and Jan Peichl (Pinterest) on stage. After the presentations, it was time to move on to the entertaining part of the day: A shuttle took our guests back to their hotel, where they could freshen up before heading to the Friedrichstadtpalast in the evening. At the Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin, our partners and flaconis were welcomed in a special VIP area with cool drinks and delicious food, but the real highlight of the evening was of course the show  “FALLING | IN LOVE”. An experience for all senses, with unforgettable impressions, great artists, costumes and an impressive stage set. After the show, we went to a cozy bar to round off the day in a relaxed atmosphere.💃🎙✨ Many thanks to all our partners who visited us at our headquarters last week and showed us once again why strong partnerships and trust are the base of a joint success. A big thank you to our Retail Media Team, who initiated and organized the whole event with the support of our Office Management, IT, PR team and many other dedicated flaconis.     flaconi Diversity Day 2024 Last week, the second flaconi Diversity Day took place at our Berlin headquarters and we also celebrated our third International Food Festival. At flaconi, it is very important to us that all our employees feel equally heard, seen and valued. As an employer with employees from 66 different nations, we see our differences as an enrichment, a driver for innovation and something that strengthens us as a company and that should always be appreciated, embraced and celebrated.  ✨🌈 Our Diversity Day aims to further strengthen awareness and the sense of belonging, which is why we focused on listening, sharing experiences and getting to know each other even better. Therefore our “Your flaconi DEI B” group read very emotional stories from flaconis about their experiences and what they associate with diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at flaconi. After that, we got to know each other even better with games such as flaconi Bingo, where we had to find other flaconis who matched with different characteristics, such as “born in the same month as you”, “loves cats'' or “native Spanish speaker” to find similarities in each other. Another very impactful game was the “Privilege Circle”, where we got an overview of different privileges, but without judging. Not only did we get to know each other even better on this day, but we also got a feel for each other's individual experiences. 🙌 Another highlight of our Diversity Day was our third International Food Festival. Our lunch break turned into a culinary journey around the world, and thanks to the many flaconi bakers and chefs, our buffet was a real eye-catcher. The food not only tasted great, but also served a good cause, as the money we raised from the food festival will be donated to an NGO that is committed to diversity. 🥙🧁🍕 What a wonderful day in our HQ. Many thanks to all flaconis for your dedication during the games and for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us.
