🌐 Key Takeaways from #SCEWC24! 🌐 Three impactful days of innovation and connection at SCEWC 2024 for FIWARE! With over 100 community members joining us, we proudly hosted ADDIX GmbH, Eviden, Red Hat, Ubiwhere, Secmotic, TeamDev S.r.l., AWS, GrupoTX, and Urban Software Institute at our booth. We were honored by visits from delegations and officials exploring new opportunities for partnerships. Cities such as Shenzhen City, Riyadh , Qiddiya City, City of Posadas, and Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba visited our booth, showing interest in how FIWARE can support their smart city goals and data solutions. We also welcomed representatives from CIGA - Consórcio de Inovação na Gestão Pública (Brazil),  the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Baden-Württemberg, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, Universidade do Minho , GovTech Midtjylland Denmark, Diputació de Barcelona, Uruguay Government (Canelones), Buenos Aires Government, and Mitsubishi Electric, all exploring new opportunities for collaboration. A key highlight of the event was Clara Pezuela’s main-stage presentation, which emphasized FIWARE's values of ethical AI, open-source transparency, and the importance of citizen-centered solutions. 🌟 Day 2 Wrap-Up from #SCEWC24! 🌟 Another exciting day at our booth, packed with visits and valuable connections! Today, we were joined by FIWARE community members Secmotic, [ui!] Urban Software Institute, and TeamDev S.r.l., showcasing projects like DOME Marketplace, CitCom.ai TEF – Testing AI and Robotics in Smart Communities, and European Data Space for Smart Communities. We hosted international delegations, including representatives from the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Baden-Württemberg and Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from Brazil. Additionally, we welcomed CIGA - Consórcio de Inovação na Gestão Pública from Brazil at our booth and held discussions with representatives from the municipality of Posadas (Argentina), reflecting the strong and growing interest in FIWARE technology from Latin America. A brief visit from Mitsubishi Electric , Yohei Okato brought future collaboration potential, while Abdulrahman Ibrahim presented Al Madinah's strategy to become the world’s most citizen-centered smart city. His approach emphasizes designing solutions around citizens’ needs and even includes a City Experience Book to guide developers on creating citizen-centric urban innovations. 🌟 Day 1 Wrap-Up from #SCEWC24! 🌟 What a fantastic first day! Our booth was buzzing with energy, packed with visitors and valuable exchanges. Thanks to our amazing community, including ADDIX GmbH, Amazon Web Services (AWS), GRUPO TX, Ubiwhere, Eviden, and Red Hat. We were thrilled to host our President, Yasunori Mochizuki, who visited our booth and interacted with the team. His presence was a significant acknowledgement of the work we are doing. We were honored to welcome a delegation from Shenzhen City, who showed strong interest in FIWARE technology for their Data City platform, data spaces implementation, and data exchange mechanisms. We were also pleased to host representatives from CIGA - Consórcio de Inovação na Gestão Pública, who were visiting us directly from Brazil. We also featured two standout projects: BeOpen-DEP and ENERSHARE , showcasing innovative solutions and inspiring collaboration.
