𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸! 🙌 Another Career-Building School is behind us, and it's time to reminisce together. For our newest Femteccies in Class 46, the adventure began on Monday with lively introductions, team-building activities, and a casual pizza night. We're happy to have such passionate and driven individuals on board. 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗺𝘁𝗲𝗰 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸! Meanwhile, the participants in Class 45, already familiar with the programme, dove into Innovation Labs led by our partners, Deutsche Telekom and EnBW. The Kick-off events laid the foundation for interdisciplinary collaboration, enabling them to tackle real-task challenges in the coming weeks. 𝗪𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂! While some embarked on new projects, the Femteccies from Class 44 took a moment to reflect on their time with us. During a heartfelt Farewell event, we shared memories of the highs, the challenges, and everything in between. 𝗔 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! 💙 It wasn't just our Femteccies who were busy; on Friday, the Advisory Board also convened, and there was plenty of lively exchange at the Career Fair as well. After a week packed with workshops - covering career-building, self-care, personal values, goal-setting, elevator pitches, networking, and much more - the grand finale was our annual Summer Festival on Friday evening. Hosted in collaboration with Procter & Gamble Deutschland at the iconic Wasserwerk, the event celebrated "𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 – 𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀." A special thanks to P&G and everyone who helped make this magical event possible! The evening sparkled with inspiring panel discussions, powerful speeches, excellent food, vibrant energy, a fun quiz, and a dance floor that stayed lively until the very end! 🥂 Bringing together such a diverse array of personalities and perspectives makes our Femtec hearts truly soar. Especially in these challenging times, as Marion Zeßner so aptly put it: "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗺𝘁𝗲𝗰 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. Empowering women in STEM careers is crucial to overcoming barriers and fostering gender equality. By sharing their journeys, experiences, and triumphs, female #role #models can pave the way and inspire others to follow in their footsteps. We are therefore looking forward to getting together with Femtec-Career-Building Alumnae in industry and science. 3 days, 3 companies, 20 Femteccies, and countless impressions! The second School of Career-Building Elements brought together the participants of our pilot programme again. Over three days, the female #STEM students from the partnering Universities of Applied Sciences engaged a workshop on #resilience and #presence while gaining valuable #insights into the working world. In a business environment, expertise is essential, but personal stability, persuasiveness, and precise presence are equally crucial. After all, even the best ideas are of little use if they are not presented convincingly and cannot make an impact. This is what our second School focused on, and we're proud to say that the participants left with a newfound sense of #empowerment and confidence. Guided by Coach Barbara Hoyer, we spent two days honing these skills. 💪 On the third day, we visited Le Bihan Consulting. Our #Femteccies explored ongoing projects, delved into the company's culture, and learned about the varied #career paths of its employees through a series of Job Stories. The day wrapped up with a laid-back BBQ, where homemade salads and cakes provided a welcoming atmosphere for continued conversations. From the corporate world, we transitioned to a traditional Frankfurt tavern, where representatives from our sister organization, Femtec.Alumnae e.V. (FTA), awaited the young STEM women. In a cosy atmosphere, the evening provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and support one another. Thanks to Andrea Schulz, Elena Kunze, and Nora Kleinschmidt for taking the time! 💙 Further, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our corporate partners who opened their doors to us and our Femteccies - many thanks to Exxeta and HRworks GmbH! WE - ARE - LIVE! After months of work, we proudly present our new website today and reintroduce ourselves to the World Wide Web with a dazzling Design! It's been quite a journey. Now visible on the surface is the culmination of strategic planning, creative implementation, and countless decisions. Every element on our #homepage, from its overall structure to the text and image arrangement, even down to the shape of a button, reflects thoughtful deliberation. At the core of this effort were improvements in user experience, a responsive design that seamlessly adapts to all devices, and a design update that embodies the fresh and modern spirit of our #Femteccies. Thanks to the support of our IT service provider Qualmity, the new design corresponds precisely to our ideas. Thank you for untangling technical knots and for creative problem-solving. Going through (work)life with continuous commitment and curiosity for change – such could be the description of the attitude and experience of our new coach, Julia von Kanitz. With her varied career path, Julia brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from a wide range of areas. Her most important professional roles include working with the United Nations Environment Programme, a management consultancy, and project management for an international NGO. Additionally, she founded the association "Doctors for Choice in Germany", which advocates for reproductive rights and physical self-determination. Furthermore, she is active as a member of the Initiative "Neues Lernen e.V." (Learning New), where she acts as a trainer focusing on participatory school development and education. "I have tried many different things and have not followed a straightforward career path, but I have always been enthusiastic about new topics and sectors. This has taught me much about organizations and how processes and routines can influence human behaviour and #leadership." Thanks to her wealth of experience, Julia knows how to encourage young people to always be open to new ideas, to remain curious, and to train their "courage muscle" to lose the fear of failure. The #Femteccies from our Career-Building Programme can look forward to working with our new coach. We do, too, and say welcome, Julia! 👋

Products tailored to the customers' needs and continuously optimised – this is the claim of our collaborative partner Procter & Gamble Deutschland, because the customer is at the centre of every innovation at P&G. At this year’s Innovation Lab, our Femteccies could prove that they are meeting precisely these requirements! P&G's specific task, titled "Touchless Intelligent Manufacturing," aimed to integrate advanced technology into the production of Oral-B™ electric toothbrushes. The objective was to create applications, AI models, and digital twins utilizing big data to automate and enhance manufacturing processes. Challenge accepted? Absolutely! 💪 Over a period of four months, our scholarship holders delved deeper and deeper into topics related to cyber-physical systems, manufacturing technology, machine learning, and automation. The objectives of the project included making decisions by using advanced analytics and real-time quality information. Another task was to implement a seamless data flow throughout the production process. The idea flow was also seamless! In weekly online meetings, our 21 creative minds collected, rejected, exchanged and followed up on their ideas and thoughts, inspiring and motivating each other. The good #team organisation, respectful interaction and successful communication created a pleasant and productive learning and working atmosphere. These months of fruitful collaboration resulted in a successful visualisation of the desired data. Last Friday our Femteccies could present their PowerBI Dashboard. Hats off to each rising #STEM star for mastering this challenge and congratulations to everyone involved! 💫
