Got street cred? What’s going on in your building is paramount, but for the majority of your audience, the exterior is going to be either their only experience, or their first impression. And guess what? For close to half the time, that exterior is going to be in darkness, unless you light it. Factor in your front – and light it, so people see it, understand it, and can find their way into it! You’ve got choices. You can use transparent materials and light from within, graze light up or down a textured wall, uplight from recessed directionals, or flood with light from projectors. They’re all techniques that ERCO luminaires can deliver, and given the environmental demands to reduce light pollution, the selection and installation of luminaire is key. Use as few luminaires as possible by choosing the right optics (ERCO offers you interchangeable options), cast light only on the desired surface, and minimize light spill. The latest addition to the ERCO stable is a new Large iteration of the popular Beamer projector. Every member of the Beamer family is compact and corrosion-free, uses darklight optic technology for maximum visual comfort, comes with interchangeable optics including framing and wallwashing, and has options for controls and tunable white or RGBW colour. Beamer Large delivers up to an impressive 2614lm output and a beam angle from less than 10° to more than 80°. Check it out at the ERCO website. Sydney's 115-year-old Central Station has undergone a redesign and upgrade!🚆✨ The renovation, completed in 2023, blends the charm of its historic sandstone buildings with cutting-edge design, turning the station into a vibrant and timeless transportation hub. 🏛️ The architectural highlight is an 80 x 40 meter canopy that skillfully merges the interior of the transit space with the exterior using skylights and louvres, creating an inviting atmosphere. 💡 The lighting designers at Steensen Varming have accentuated the architecture with ERCO wall-mounted Lightscan LED luminaires that direct light upwards and enhance the space. Each luminaire incorporates full tunable-white technology programmed to adjust to the sequence of natural light throughout the morning, day and evening. Another highlight is the Central Walk 🚶♂️ – an 80m long pedestrian passage running 27m below eight active platforms. ERCO Compact double wallwashers provide comfortable, glare-free lighting that ensures safety and well-being. 🌿 The sustainable lighting technology not only enhances the station's appearance but also significantly reduces energy consumption, setting new standards in sustainability with a 36.5% energy saving. 🔍 Discover more about this project here: https://bit.ly/3Y6M245 Architecture: Woods Bagot, John McAslan Partners Lighting design: Steensen Varming Channel Partner: Jadecross Lighting Solutions Photography: Jackie Chan #erco #lightingdesign #centralstation #transporthub

🔆✨ Customized lighting solutions by ERCO for the new FC Lausanne stadium in Switzerland!⚽ https://bit.ly/4fc1ja3 With our ERCO individual service, we developed a sophisticated lighting system perfectly tailored to the architecture and surroundings. From glare-free lighting in corridors and dining areas to color-coordinated fixture housings – every detail was considered. Our ERCO lights illuminate the VIP areas and access points to the stands in this impressive stadium. We are particularly proud of the powerful Kona outdoor projectors that highlight the distinctive entrance areas. Lighting designer Tobias Gsell aptly calls them "real light cannons." The entire stadium adheres to the principle of "light instead of luminaires," with fixtures in special colors that visually blend with the concrete ceiling. In the VIP area, precise, glare-free lighting with Compar linear downlights and wide flood light distribution creates a magical ambiance. Thanks to custom-made, black anodized channels, there are no distracting reflections, ensuring the highest visual comfort to enjoy the games.
