Looking back to a successful week at the WindEnergy in Hamburg: We were happy to welcome many customers and industry representatives at our new booth, showcasing our current product portfolio including the E-175 EP5 and having lively discussions and fruitful exchanges.   We were also able to make our mark in the parallel conference and lecture programme. Amongst others, CEO Udo Bauer, CCO Uli Schulze Südhoff and COO Heiko B. Juritz took part in several panel discussions and presented ENERCON's industrial policy messages. These included: - demands for long-term planning security for the European wind industry  - fair competitive conditions and a level playing field for all market participants in Europe  - penalisation of price dumping and distortion of competition  - continued accelerated and simplified approval procedures. CCO Uli Schulze Südhoff underlined during his sessions: ‘The green energy transition is in full swing and more permitted projects is already a reality. European production capacity is able to cover the required volumes. It is now important to secure a level playing field building a resilient European supply chain and to avoid any disruptive changes in the energy market design and remuneration system for renewables.’ ‘ENERCON made a strong impression in Hamburg,’ summarised CEO Udo Bauer. ‘I am very proud of how the team presented our company at this trade fair. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this professional appearance!’ #windenergy #hamburg #renewables #fair #energytransition #renewablenergies #windenergie

This year's BWE ENERCON Operators Forum was once again a good opportunity for our experts from Sales, After Sales and Service to exchange ideas with our customers. As part of the WindEnergy Hamburg trade fair, around 100 operators of ENERCON wind turbines learned more about our current service setup and asked questions themselves. Current challenges were just as much a topic as new legal requirements for cyber security or current offers for maintenance contracts.   ‘The BWE Operator Forum as part of the trade fair offers an excellent opportunity for lively discussions. We were able to provide answers to the most pressing questions from our customers in Germany and present ourselves as a transparent and trustworthy partner in the area of Service & After Sales,’ says Benjamin Seifert, Regional Head Central & Northern Europe.     ‘We have more than 26 GW under service contract in Germany. We value the feedback from our customers as an important impulse to further develop our services in line with customer needs,’ says Dr. Edmund Stassen, ENERCON Director Service for the Central & Northern Europe region. ‘Many thanks to everyone involved for the constructive exchange.’ #enercon #renewables #energytransition #windenergy #climatechange #fair #Hamburg #WindEnergyHamburg #sales #service #customer #exchange Bundesverband WindEnergie e.V.

ENERCON has received the type certificate for its E-138 EP3 E3 turbine type: The expert organisation TÜV NORD GROUP, as the appointed certifier, officially handed over the documents today at the WindEnergy Hamburg trade fair. As part of the measurement and validation campaign, the loads, power curve and sound power levels were successfully measured at the prototype site in Staphorst, Netherlands. On completion of the measurement programme, the prototype was handed over to the customer. ‘We are delighted to have received the type certificate,’ says EP3 Product Manager Sascha Exner. ‘This is an important milestone in our product roadmap, which will soon be followed by further important steps. The E-138 EP3 E4, with which we will standardise the nacelles of the EP3 and EP5 platform, is already in development.’ This EP3 turbine type will then be fitted with the self-supporting nacelle covering that has already been introduced on the EP5 platform. Based on the successful prototype measurement and further developments, ENERCON will also offer an improved power curve for the E4, which will enable around 1.5 per cent more annual energy yield (AEP). In addition, a more robust version for typhoon requirements in Asian markets is under development, and there will be new steel towers for Europe with 111 metres and for Japan with 99 metres. Deliveries of the E4 in Europe will start at the beginning of 2026. ENERCON and the renewable energy company Soler - Energy from Luxembourg entered into a turbine supply agreement: The contract was signed during WindEnergy Hamburg and comprises the installation of 3 x E-115 EP3, 20 x E-138 EP3 and 1x E-175 EP5 with a total capacity of 104 MW across the country of Luxembourg. It is the first time, that the current ENERCON top model is sold in Luxembourg. The turbines will be delivered on a phased basis over the next two years. Each project is accompanied by an EPK service contract of 20 years.    ‘The projects we have completed across various regions of Luxembourg over the past years have demonstrated that ENERCON models are the ideal choice for us. In addition to the quality of delivery and service, I want to highlight the reliability and innovation that distinguish every new generation of ENERCON turbines. This is why we are excited to sign this milestone contract for our new and repowering projects and embark on the next phase of wind energy development in Luxembourg‘, says Paul Zeimet, Managing Director at Soler.    ‘We are grateful for Soler’s trust in ENERCON once again to deliver high quality wind turbines to Luxembourg. Soler knows us for our project delivery and service, and we are happy to continue with our partnership together with them’, says Johan Terpstra, ENERCON’s Head of Western Europe.    In Luxembourg, we have a long history of positive partnership having worked on several projects across the country over the past several years. Among other things, we benefit of our strong track record of delivering projects in challenging terrain which is prevalent in many parts of Luxembourg where the projects are to be realised.    #enercon #renewables #energytransition #windenergy #climatechange #contract #fair #Hamburg #WindEnergyHamburg #success

ENERCON Sales & Finance Partners support customer with equity and project financing expertise / Signing of Engagement Letter during WindEnergy Hamburg Supporting our customers beyond the delivery and installation of wind turbines: Today, we signed an Engagement Letter with our long-standing customer Deutsche WindXperts – and thus paved the way for a new wind farm project! WindXperts will benefit from our equity and project financing expertise to realize its 50 MW project with ten wind turbines while keeping 100% ownership in their projects.    With our in-house experts from ENERCON Sales & Finance Partners (ESFP) we support our customers in bringing their projects to life and at the same time filling individual equity, energy marketing or financing gaps. In this way, we create a significant value-add for our customers and jointly contribute to a successful energy transition.    ‘WindXpert’s expectation as a project developer is recovery of a significant portion of permitting cost as well as access to bridge financing e.g. for grid connection cost. Access to these funds via ESFP advice prior to Financial Close has been an additional driver for our decision to order wind turbines from ENERCON’, said Lars Behrends, Managing Director WindXperts.    ‘Our holistic approach reduces risks and increases the profitability of our customers' projects. New wind farms will be realized with greater reliability, shorter lead times and besides, we achieve more attractive financing conditions. A real “win-win” situation for everyone involved’, Wolfgang Fettig, Global Head of ENERCON Sales & Finance Partners states.     Learn more about our solutions in the area of finance and energy marketing: ➡ https://lnkd.in/ezNEEXtY #enercon #renewables #energytransition #windenergy #climatechange #finance #project #Hamburg #WindEnergyHamburg

The German Federal Minister of Economics and vice chancellor visited ENERCON: We were pleased to welcome Robert Habeck and his team at our production site in Aurich (Germany) and give them insights into our preparations for the ramp-up in the framework of the market upswing. The production site in Aurich, the Mechatronics Centre of Excellence, is our global lead plant for mechatronic components and nacelles for all ENERCON turbine models including the new E-175 EP5. More than 1,000 specialists work here every day to ensure the success of the energy transition – just as all members of our ENERCON team worldwide. In this context ENERCON CEO Udo Bauer underlined once more the importance of the medium and long-term planning security with regard to the industrial policy framework, the onshore market design and other regulatory requirements. He also referred to the growing competition from non-European market participants on the continent: 'We need a level playing field that ensures equal opportunities for all market participants. With guaranteed fair competitive conditions in our domestic market, we are ready to continue investing and growing in Germany and Europe.’ #enercon #renewables #energytransition #windenergy #climatechange #onshore #Germany
