A short glimpse over the shoulder of our test center team straight from our headquarters: On the pictures you can see how the light cabinet is used to observe the fluorescence of our neon colors under UV light 🌟  Every time we have our welcome tour through the office with new employees, one of the highlight stations is our test center because you get so many insights on the way we ensure the quality of our products. A sporty and successful week at the edding Group! 🏃♀️🏃♂️⚽ Last week, our colleagues, families and friends took part in the B2Run Charity Run at Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion. This event is part of a nationwide running series supporting charity causes, and we were proud to support DKMS Deutschland as charity starters in their fight against blood cancer. Along with nearly 4,700 other participants, we ran 5.6 km through the beautiful Altonaer Volkspark 🌳 with perfect weather and great team spirit! 🙌 Besides we also joined a soccer tournament organized by our neighbours Hela Gewürzwerk (GmbH) where we won 1st place 🥇 A big thank you to Hela Gewürzwerk (GmbH) for the invitation and congratulations to our team for the great performance.  At the edding Group, we value teamwork and giving back to the community. Whether on the track, the soccer field or in our daily work – we achieve more together. Time flies and we can hardly believe that our new apprentices have already been with us for almost a month. 😍 Their Welcome Week was an exciting and insightful start to their journey, and we are very happy to welcome them to the edding Group family. 🎉 Throughout the week, they had the chance to get to know our company and colleagues through engaging activities. From business unit overviews and product presentations to workshops on learning strategies, they gained valuable insights into their new workplace. Of course, there was plenty of teambuilding, too! Whether solving puzzles in an escape room, competing in a soccer tournament or simply building connections with one another during a barbecue. That was "Hamburg's longest table for democracy, diversity and cohesion" last weekend on the townhall market in the city ❤ Together with the great funding partners of the Stiftung :do - Medical Volunteers International e.V., Schotstek and Lean On Us e.V. - we wanted to make the path and challenges of refugees and migrants tangible. The day was full of great conversations and contributions for an open, tolerant society. The sustainable business network B.A.U.M. e.V. - Netzwerk für nachhaltiges Wirtschaften initiated the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Scouts program to mobilize apprentices and young professionals for the 17 global SDGs of the United Nations and actively contribute to achieving these goals through concrete projects.  Together with B.A.U.M. e.V., our young talents Janne, Christina, and Paula participated in exciting workshops and presented their innovative projects in a final presentation. A particular highlight: The introduction of pool bikes within the company, with which we aim to actively contribute to the shift in transportation and promote sustainable mobility. 🚲   Christina shares: "It was a fantastic experience working together on the current analysis of edding in relation to the SDGs and developing projects that make a positive difference.
