SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION IN ACTION | What do blueberries and solar panels have in common? Nothing - except at the Groensebos solar park, which opened yesterday! 🍇☀️ At Ecorus, we love challenging the status quo, and our latest project is no exception. In partnership with AMPYR Solar Europe and the Echt-Susteren Energy Cooperative, we’ve launched an innovative agri-PV pilot at the 13.2MWp Groensebos solar park in Maria Hoop, Echt-Susteren. Here, beneath nearly 23.000 solar panels, blueberries are being grown, transforming the solar park into a space that’s as productive for agriculture as it is for renewable energy. And there's more. With a smart design featuring three different panel orientations - one south-facing and two east/west-facing - we’ve optimized the energy yield, ensuring the most efficient use of the 10.35 hectares available. Giving back to the community and nature: the combination we love the most!

BEHIND THE SCENES - Last week we went behind the lens for something exciting! 🌞 Ecorians gathered for a special photo shoot that captures the heart of what we do: accelerating the worldwide transition to net zero. Normally, our employees are deep in their roles such as product engineers, technical experts, and sales managers. But this time, they stepped in front of the camera, fully comfortable and striking poses like professional models, all with big smiles. We can't wait to share the images with you!
