🌍 The organization of European Space Agency - ESA's Living Planet Symposium 2025 (#LPS25) is in full swing, and our website is live! 🎉 Next year's event in Vienna, from June 23-27, will focus on transitioning from Earth observation to climate action and sustainability. We're calling for Peer-Reviewed Sessions to complement our proposed sessions, and we invite you to submit your ideas by August 23rd. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the world's largest Earth Observation event. One of our themes is #Digital #Innovation and #Green #Solutions. We will explore how digital technologies and tools can revolutionize the market landscape by enabling green solutions. Sub-themes such as #Digital #Twin #Earth, #AI, data fusion, big data analytics, open science and #emerging #technologies will be central to these discussions. European Space Agency - ESA Invitation to Tender: “EO ENGINES FOR SDG TARGET AND INDICATOR WORKFLOWS”. All info here : ⏩ https://lnkd.in/dfBYHM-6 The objective of the activity is to customise and integrate state-of-the-art EO data processing and data analytics workflows (called EO Engines) into existing data exploitation platforms, with the goal to demonstrate the value and use of geospatially explicit datasets to produce national statistics on SDG Targets and Indicators, to enable a seamless and cost-effective integration of EO data flows into official statistics on SDGs, and to allow an EO uptake in national processes and systems on SDGs, for different domains of use.

We are already working to make the next Living Planet Simposium the best ever and we need your help: We are looking for ideas for peer-reviewed sessions that align with the symposium’s themes and sub-themes. We seek sessions that will stimulate competitive abstract submissions and attract a large number of attendees, while avoiding redundancy with sessions already proposed. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dKHUYZjM For those who don’t know what is LPS is: Held every three years, ESA’s Living Planet Symposia are among the world’s premier events on Earth observation. The symposia continue to expand in both size and scope. With the climate crisis intensifying, the Living Planet Symposium 2025 (LPS25) emphasises transitioning from ‘observation to climate action and sustainability for Earth’.
