Dymium reinvents kidney stone removal with magnetism. The current standard of care fails to remove kidney stones completely and time-efficiently in one surgery, causing high costs for hospitals and payers, and deteriorate quality of life for patients. Compared to existing methods, Dymium enables residue-free, minimally invasive removal in a single operation. Magnetic removal eliminates costs related to complications and re-interventions. The innovative method could be applied in over 2.5 million operations per year, addressing a significant market opportunity. Dymium has reached essential development milestones with more than €1m in non-dilutive funding.
