Your professional career as a mineral processing specialist in our company has been really impressive. Could you give us a brief overview of how it has been evolving so far? 🗨 I graduated from Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold in 1997, majoring in Mineral Processing and Dressing. After graduation, I worked at a beneficiation plant which processed complex polymetallic ores for ten years, eventually becoming head of the grinding and flotation section. In 2007 I moved to Germany and since 2008, I've been with Engineering Dobersek, working in the metallurgy and mineral processing department, focusing on process design for beneficiation and concentrating mills. ❔ What innovative approaches have you used in your area of expertise that have had a lasting positive effect on the development of our company? 🗨 In the project work, I have been able to draw from my own professional experience and use state-of-the-art software tools to determine equipment parameters and process flows. This has enabled me to do my work in a timely manner and contribute to ensuring the long-term success and sustainable position of Engineering Dobersek in the marketplace.   ❔ Can you share with us your impressions of the most interesting or the most memorable situation or project in your career? In other words, what has impressed you most so far? 🗨 It is very difficult to single out one particularly interesting one. All implemented projects were very complex, sophisticated, and interesting in their own way. However, a few projects do stand out, such as the development of project design criteria to process complex Pb-Zn ores from Shalkiya deposit with a view of obtaining conditioned Pb and Zn concentrates, including laboratory and pilot tests, as well as the development of design specifications and estimates for a new enrichment plant designed to process Ba-Pb-Zn ores from Zhairem field.   ❔ How do you see the future of the engineering industry at large? Are there any trends or challenges that we should be gearing up for? 🗨 Due to the overall depletion of mineral resources and increased use of poor base ores, it is absolutely essential to develop commercially viable solutions for the enrichment and re-processing of man-made, artificial resources, enabling, first and foremost, the enrichment of spent, deposited tailings.   ❔ What do you think makes ED so special? 🗨 In my opinion, it is an excellent team of top-notch professionals that makes Engineering Dobersek so successful. Our team on the ground consists of experienced professionals, including process designers, engineers, and construction experts, specializing in local communication and technical expertise.
