The labor-intensive health and care industry is also severely impacted by a shortage of qualified people. This implies that while there are many challenges to overcome, there are also a ton of chances for digitalization and innovative business ideas! Some DPS teams have worked on health and care-related topics in previous batches. Fitnerds, for instance, developed a smart health management software for people recovering from cardiovascular diseases. Team CareMates has gone even further by starting a start-up with their proposal to digitize and accelerate the admission procedure for new patients in care facilities. Yes, that's right - Introducing Team SmartAIs 👏 Batch#21 has been full of amazing and impactful challenges - and a special highlight has definitely been the start-up SmartAIs joining. Their goal: to empower blind and visually impaired individuals with an innovative obstacle avoidance app, ensuring safer and more relaxed walks on sidewalks. 😲 We were amazed to see how, over the past 90 days at DPS, the team has accelerated their app development and honed their focus on customer-centric solutions.
