Nach seinem Besuch des „Home of IRIS-T“ im Juni auf der ILA, war Benjamin Strasser, FDP-Bundestagsabgeordneter und Parlamentarischer Staatssekretär beim Bundesminister der Justiz, gemeinsam mit dem FDP-Landtagsabgeordneten Klaus Hoher MdL am #DiehlDefence Standort in Überlingen am Bodensee zu Gast. CEO Helmut Rauch begrüßte die Gäste und stellte das Unternehmen im Rahmen einer Präsentation vor. Dabei erhielten die Besucher Informationen zum umfassenden Produktportfolio von Diehl Defence, insbesondere zu den Luftverteidigungssystemen der IRIS-T Familie und deren Funktionalitäten. Auch die strategisch wichtigen Themenkomplexe der Kapazitätserweiterung und des Wachstums bei Diehl Defence wurden in vertrauensvoller Atmosphäre diskutiert.  Bei dem anschließenden Rundgang durch die Fertigung konnten sich Benjamin Strasser und Klaus Hoher von den hochtechnologischen Fähigkeiten der Mitarbeiter in der Produktion selbst überzeugen. Auch die umfassenden Baumaßnahmen und Investitionen in die Infrastruktur wurden beim Gang über das Gelände ersichtlich.  Helmut Rauch und das Diehl Defence Team bedanken sich für den Besuch und das damit verbundene Interesse. At ILA Berlin, #DiehlDefence presented the new #FEANIX for the first time. Did you miss the opportunity? No worries! The new Light Remote Carrier FEANIX is already on its way to Farnborough International 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 and will be exhibited at our booth no. 4921 in hall 4. FEANIX stands for 𝗙uture 𝗘ffector – 𝗔daptable, 𝗡etworked, 𝗜ntelligent, 𝗫pendable. It is a long-range effector, which can be launched from the air, from land as well as from sea. Due to its modularity, the #LRC is individually equippable with different payloads, from sensors to lethal and non-lethal effectors, depending on the operational scenario and mission. Thanks to the low signature (low observable), the Light Remote Carrier is difficult to detect by the enemy air defence and it makes a valuable contribution to the networked battle management. Besides the mentioned modularity, FEANIX is also characterized by its networking, swarming, robustness and stand-off capability. 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝗵𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗨𝗚𝗩 𝗭𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 "𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗲" 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝗟𝗥𝗢𝗕 Diehl Defence participated with great success in this year's '#European Land Robot Trial' (#ELROB), which took place from June 24 to 28 on the grounds of the Bundeswehr Technical Center for Land-Based Vehicle Systems, Engineer and General Field Equipment (WTD 41) in Trier. 17 international teams from all over the world competed against each other in five challenging disciplines in this competition of robotic systems. #DiehlDefence won the first place in the "Mule" scenario with the Unmanned Ground Vehicle (#UGV) Ziesel. For this scenario, a specific route is taught in a first phase in the follow-me-mode. In phase two, the UGV must automatically drive the recorded route. This takes place under highly complex conditions, e.g. a GNSS-denied environment, in difficult terrain with high vegetation and blocked paths. Diehl Defence CEO Helmut Rauch together with Nammo Executive Vice President Vegard Sande signed the framework agreement with Annette Lehnigk-Emden, President of the BAAINBw on July 9 in Coblenz. Besides #ILA Berlin and #Eurosatory in Paris, there was also a special highlight at our site in Röthenbach. Diehl Defence CFO Thomas Bodenmüller welcomed a political delegation led by Ralph Edelhäußer, Member of the German Bundestag, and the Members of the Bavarian State Parliament Klaus Holetschek, Norbert Dünkel and Volker Bauer. Starting with a presentation of the company and the #DiehlDefence product portfolio, the visitors gained detailed insights into the company history, the continuous development and the future potential of Diehl Defence. As part of a product presentation of the IRIS-T SLM air defence system, including a product demonstration of a launcher, the visitors were given an introduction to ground-based air defence and the role of Diehl Defence in the European Sky Shield Initiative (#ESSI).
